Okay. I may be wrong here, as i'm rather noobish to development stuff...but when hanging around Rochester, i have been hit the edge at least a ship-length off the hull, or where the shield should be, and sometimes you can even slip around the hitbox and go through the station. I think it requires reboxing. Badly.

Hmm. Its really weird, though. If i slide along the side of a base, i can make the edge of the wing slip into it, or i can get punched off at about the distance of that outer bubble. :mellow:

That 'outer bubble' is the Shield Bubble. Shield bubbles are only used by fighters, capital ships are treated as Freighters by the game, and therefore do not use the shield bubble. Rather, their shield bubble is the same as their hitbox.
