The LNS-Heroic is a Liberty siege cruiser, one of many in the Liberty Navy. This ship is not special in any way. Its the crew that stands out from the crowd. The senior officers are all a bit eccentric, but they get the job done. The crewmembers are very close to each other, and they would all trust any of their colleagues with their lives. The commanding officer, Col. Robert Hogan, is a man of many talents. He is a very quick thinker, and an even faster talker. He has turned Rheinland squadrons against each other, he has snuck in and out of key areas in enemy space, and hes even served aboard a ship during a bombardment of New Berlin itself. His XO, Newkirk, isnt a Libertonian. Newkirk is a Bretonian, a petty thief from the streets of New London. He was very good at what he did, but not good enough. One day, Newkirk stole the wrong mans wallet. The wallet belonged to a BAF pilot, who soon ended up chasing Newkirk out of Bretonia. Turning over a new leaf, Newkirk enlisted in the Liberty Navy. He eventually worked his way up until he was posted on the LNS-Heroic. His dark side has come in handy many times, whether it be stealing classified documents or keeping an eye on crew communications to stop mutinies before they start. The comms officer, Kinchloe, or Kinch, is an expert when it comes to the field of communications. He can encrypt a code so heavily, its virtually identical to static. He can also hack into communications channels used by the enemy. A man named Andrew Carter fills the role of engineer. Though he may seem like the worst possible man for the job, Carter puts his inherent urge to blow stuff up aside as he keeps the ships core intact. Hes not exactly the smartest guy ever, but hes no idiot. Last, but not least, is Louis Lebeau, ship morale officer and cook. Hes Gallic, and is proud of it. Its a good thing, too, as that pride is shown in the meals he cooks. Louis Lebeau is arguably the best cook in the entire fleet. The crew of the LNS-Heroic may not be the most professional in the fleet, but they get the job done, and they get it done well. The mood on the ship is usually cheerful, the captain is a jolly man, his senior officers are a great bunch of people, and the living conditions are kept well above the minimum stated in regulations. Col. Hogan tries to avoid a fight when possible, but when necessary, will retaliate. His goal is to use the Heroic to bring about the end of the war with as few lives lost as possible.
// You may notice that these characters are those from the TV show Hogans Heroes. I do not own this show. Didnt know if that had to be included or not anyway, feedback welcome, money even more welcome. Ive been looking for a sponsor, seeing as I dont even own this ship yet. I wrote this in like, five minutes, so if the writing style needs work, just tell me.
