Leon wasn't surprised, and it seemed like no one else was either, it seemed, the body was just lying there, and everyone went back to their business. He set down his coffee and walked towards the body. He grabbed both of his feet and dragged him out of the bar. The blood was still dripping from his head, and it left a streak where he had been dragged. Leon liked the floor better that way, and was disappointed that it'd be cleaned up, and would no longer serve as a warning to those who felt the need to oppose the Crown, both discreetly and openly.

Villette finished her coffee and began looking around the room for someone to talk to. She was bored out of her skull and her patrol duty wasn't for another few hours. She stood up, put her empty coffee mug and the news datapad on the bar table, and ordered a light cup of decaffeinated coffee and scouted the room for other bored people to talk to.
Leon finished washing the blood off his hands and emerged from the bathroom back into the bar. Returning to his seat by the bar counter, he put the earphones back into their place and turned his music on. He sat there, alone, like he always did. He wished he had someone to begin an idle conversation with, but felt like getting up and approaching someone was too much work.

After Brun sat down, Aenor slowly walked towards him, a tablet with a Criossant and a big coffee in her hands.
Mind if i take a seat her? No? Bien! With a complete innocent smile, she takes her seat on the opposite of his table.
Now my dear, what happened to you? Sounded like you are slightly angered about something that happened some time ago?
If i heard right, someone gave your face some colour?
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
Mon ami, it can never be wrong to hear a story. Especially one which has the possibility of mentioning my vanished brother.
Please, if it won't hurt you, share it with me. After saying this, Aenor is watching Brun with dog-like eyes.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
Brun thanks the bartender, leans back, and takes a sip form his wine glass.
"Well, I don't think you'd hear anything about your brother...but if you wish to hear it. It all started 4 years ago when I met this girl named Christene Aucoin. We quickly fell in love, and started going out a year later. Anyways, 2 months ago, she left for the Council, despite what I tried to tell her. She quickly advanced through the ranks, and now flies an Agama in the Lorraine system. I am yet to find her, even though I spend all of my time searching for her."
He signals to the bartender to refill his glass.
"But 4 days ago, I received word from my family that my brother was attacked, and is in critical condition. They sent me files from his blackbox, and it was Christene that shot him down. I would be with him right now, but the jumpgates to Il-de-France are sealed..."
He drains his glass, and rests his head on the table.
Villette finished scouting the room and noticed Bernard Brun sitting at the bar, face firmly planted in front of a drink -- maybe more than one, she couldn't tell. Shrugging, she decided to waltz over towards him to talk to him. She didn't know him well, so she thought this moment would be an opportunity to meet him and get to know him a little better. She pulled a small datapad out of her pocket, wrote something on it, and slid it back in before turning around and walking towards Brun.
"Bonjour, Bernard," she said in a soft voice. "I saw you... faceplant into the bar table and I wanted to know if you are okay. Are you?" She asked this calmly and with full heart.
She looked at him for a moment, before wondering if he would ever lif his head off of the counter and respond to her question.
Villette pulled up a chair and sat down at the table. "Please, continue with your story," she said, intrigued. "I'm interested in hearing it. If I can help solve your problem, I would love to."
She waved to the bartender, who started pouring a small glass of wine for her as she turned back around to face Brun.
"You don't know me very well," she started, "but I'm a bit of a philanthropist. I will do everything in my power to help you... if you will let me, that is." She smiled and waited for Brun to continue his tale.
