as some of you know, my play time is very limited. so i tend to want to use the time i have for playing for...well...playing. so instead of spending hours playing around with OpenSP, i thought i'd ask you guys for a bit of help.
so what i need info on is capital ships. Mon'Star is going to aquire a home, so i need to figure out which ship to get so i can write my RP story on it.
what i need to know:
-any kind of war ships that are feasible for a ship to dock on it. i'm trying to stay away from battleships.
-from these ships i want a ship with good stats...agility, firepower, armor, etc
-since i have to have a tag i went with Outcast because it matches my RP but as you know Mon'Star isn't an outcast. will people freak out if i have anything other than an outcast ship....meaning am i going to be spending most of my time online explaining why i'm in the ship i'm in?
the outcast destroyer has a docking bay ( allthough its rather for toy ships ) - but unless you have a fighter right next to it. it looks like something could dock at it. all in all its a good ship, low shape so its small enough in a fight, good firepower, good agility nothing awesome about it though - its rather average, imo. i guess you know how it looks - but if you wanne take a closer look, the rogue destroyer in NY is the outcast model.
yeah i really like the outcast destroyer. i just wanted to weigh all my options. i'm sure if i don't have an outcast or outcast allied ship i'll be spending a lot of my online time with explanations which i don't feel like doing, so that's one factor of making me lean toward an outcast ship. technically though Mon'Star could capture any ship so that's why i wanted the info.
But you can easily moor a fighter to the Kusari Dessie. That's my favorite Destroyer, and I think it suits Mon'Star's tastes more than an OC dessie... but your call, Drey.

if you want a home with style - there is the new dragon cruiser - looks more like a house attached to a cannon though - but it looks kind of cosy. it has no docking bay though - and i m not sure if the dragons would part with it. the new dragon battleship is even more like a big house - very stylish retro look - but again, the dragons might not like you for flying around in their highest end equipment.

i agree i really like the look of the kusari "Dessie". i'm afraid mooring wouldn't work with the stories i have building in me noggin

i've not seen either of the dragon ships of which you speaky. they sound super cool though.
think of it this way. Mon'Star is pretty much hated by everyone, for good reason, and so most are reluctant to house such a beast. So he needs a base to land ships on and to perform his evil deeds in peace. being mobile also has it's advantages.
If you will like the Dragon Cruiser, it has a cargo bay. Closed with baydoors of course, but maybe you can see it as a hangar.
There are also the Red Hessian Cruiser and the Rh Pirate Cruiser. Afaik they have hangars.
Edit: Jinx meant the Big Dragon would be the BD BS, but it is the Kusari Transport. Big Dragon is the name i have given to the model files of the transport, but Igiss has not taken this name suggestion.
I think that the Blood Dragon cruiser would be perfect for that you are trying to acomplish. It looks the part quite well. You would just have to imagine that it was converted for fighter usage.
