Liquid cardamine doesn't kill everyone. Some very old and experienced cardamine inhaling outcasts can drink small amounts of it and live to tell the tale.

rather those outcasts who can look back on more generations of born outcasts than those who are just "old". A 90 year old former Liberty Rogue/Lane Hacker who settled over to Malta is more likely to die from it than a Maltese baby of the 10th generation on that planet. The Baby has its genes altered through all those generations while the Libertonian has not.
