Actually, it's been done before. Corvo IS meant to be a deep space exploration and research vessel, so writing an RP backstory shouldn't be too difficult.

I got one with Minimal Forum RP.
Just the Zoner Alliance okaying it, and a bit of forum RP with the character.

Course, you'll have to wait for SRPs to open again.
