It was finally beginning, nearly 16 years of preparation, and it was just now becoming realized. Two Massive Colony Ships, and a retinue of 3 Cruiser escorts. Everyone, had their own agenda. Some believed, that they would find wealth, in bringing the remains to Scientists, others, wanted to see them with their own eyes, and become the Scientists, and even more, just wanted them gone. But those aboard the Boognish, had an entirely different goal.
The Boognish, along with the other Jinkusu, the 2 Corvos, and the Fearless, would be taking a voyage to the frontier that is the Omicrons. Those aboard the Boognish, were not looking for wealth, or scientific knowledge. They were looking, for a place to call their own, a place that they could truly call, home.
Some could argue, that the Zoners already had homes, Gran Canaria, for example. But Governor Dean Ween, of the Boognish, believed that like Planet Erie, Gran Canaria would be consumed by the houses, and put under the jurisdiction of either Bretonia. This would not be a peaceful transfer of power, however, the Corsairs are in abundance on Planet Gran Canaria, and it is likely, that the place would be turned into a war-zone, the brutal Corsairs, fighting the Bretonian government. The Zoners, would be cast away, forced to give up the freedoms that they were granted, that they chose to have, by becoming Zoners.
They needed a homeland, even more isolated than the ones they used to have. And Governor Dean Ween, convinced them, that somewhere within the vastness of the Omicrons, they would find it. The things, often called Nomads, posed the biggest threat. Yet they would remain essential in keeping the homeland they would find, isolated from the warring factions throughout Sirius, if they were to be removed, it would only be a matter of time before groups like the Order, Outcasts, or Corsairs, laid territorial claim to the homes they would find.
However, they could not simply wade through the nearly-impenetrable Nomad bastions that were located throughout the Omicrons. They would need to be thinned out, but not exterminated, traces would need to remain, so as to prevent the expansion of those would take what was theirs.
Soon, they would depart, and the quest, for a new home, would begin.
