I must ask. Why don't you also attack the house factions? Seems kinda unfair for a pirate faction to go against only the people they want. And yes, they are picking IG because they are our allies. Pirate has a grudge against AW so he takes it out on the allies as we are too big. I ask the other house factions declare them hostile as they have still said they would attack your convoys if out of your space. Again he is trying to side with the greater powers here. But he forgot we have just about as many members as RM. Maybe Phantom should merge with them btw, as they are pretty much the same thing.
Can we get this put in a different thread? We can talk about this, but it goes somewhere else.
(After getting moved, dispose of this post)
This is the real true story of rock and roll; it was not about anything more then, how to live your life, as a gangster, in sartorial splendor, and turning the world into a place where normality would never return again...- Malcolm McLaren
I have to agree with Dab on this one. Venom I thank you for the kind offer of not attacking SF but, I think you should attack everyone, since your are a pirate ;)
This isn't a discussion thread! Don't post here unless it relates to YOUR faction status! Can someone move these elsewhere?
(Delete this one as well)

(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
He's got a point, ya know. Pirates arn't restricted to one house. Red Hessians would be just as happy with shooting up Britonian Armed Forces as Rhinland Federal Police. Or, a better example, you can find Corsairs and Outcasts in just about every house, in one system or annother.
But I refuse to merge the Phantoms with anyone! We are NOT "the same thing"! You, my good sir Dab, have insulted my honor! *B*tch slaps Dab* Don't do it again!

NPC factions do have enemies that they hate above others, so why not player factions? This sounds fine to me, although I'd rather roleplay as if I were part of an npc faction.
What's worse for me, and I think is what you're getting at Dab, is that many characters who are supposedly pirates (quite a lot have appeared recently) are neutral to just about every npc faction, making the game reputation system redundant. Some players want the best of both worlds, playing a pirate but being able to dock at Manhattan - well it doesn't work like that. If you can dock at New Tokyo, Berlin etc, you ain't a pirate.
I said this a while ago and it's still the case - bandersnatch is loved by the bad guys, hated by the good guys, but has *still* not encountered a friendly player chatacter (as showing green on the scanner).
I guess the answer to your question Dab is that there's really little to be gained by attacking House factions. Other than roleplay and enhancing your reputation with the criminals, and making some quick money early on. I think now that Igiss had a good idea increasing the price of bribes. I'd raise them even more, particularly for the Corsairs.
Role-played characters:
daedalus - Liberty Navy
bandersnatch - Ruthless criminal possessed by a (huge) alien
Shredder - Small-time Kusari pirate, looking to join the Blood Dragons
"Bounty Hunters. We don't need that scum." - Admiral Piett
