I'm talking about smuggling stuff as a Brigand. So you can only trade in Gallia and Taus.
I want a good slaves selling point in zhe taus!:P
edit: Yeah, we have a good buying point for slaves, but not a selling one. What's up with that? I know it'll probably be fixed in .86 but why wasn't it made for 85. already?
' Wrote:all I'll say is, as a sirian, grab some neon from Erie, nd take it over to gallia. I'll leave the base and system up to you to....'discover'
gallia only trade routes, i havent found any really profitable ones, and if there are any, its rare to find someone using them.
Well...for the past few weeks I have been experimenting with the trade routes of Gallia. And I was suprised to find MANY high profitable trade routes.
Routes with profits shuch as 2400 credits per unit of cargo, 2600 credits per unit of cargo, even 3000 credits per unit of cargo!(in my 4200 Pirate train, that's alot of money, and I'v already figured in the buying and selling price.)
HOWEVER!: After extinsive research with a colleage of mine, comparing the time it took me to sell commidities Gallian made good to Sirius, and him using a In-house Gallia Trade route....it was discoverd that by the time I made a full complete run (Selling Gallia goods to Sirius, then buying Sirius Goods to Gallia) He would have completed 5 runs! And would have made 10 million more than me!
Even though I was making 2675 credits per unit of cargo while he made only about 1300 credits per unit of cargo, he had a much shorter route than me, and thus HAD A TIME EFFIECNT CARGO RUN. (Even though I was using a Pirate train, and he a L'ane)
So in essence, its all about a mix of profit and time effiency. Something I wish I knew before I wasted all my time doing my cargo run >.>
' Wrote:probably not. im pretty sure i read somewhere that one reason gallia is attacking sirius is cos they wasted their resources on battleships
I thought it was because they were mad at the universe and they wanted to take revenge upon Bretonia and Liberty. If there is no mining in Gallia (Taus maybe) then what would GMS do?
' Wrote:Does anyone know if mining in Gallia is going to happen in 4.86? I can either start or help anyone wanting to bring GMS online.
What I heard is that the GMS can head to Tau-37 and mine Niobium and then take it to Alesia. If you need escorts, I'd suggest contracting some Gallic mercs. Or even the GRP. I'unno if we can escort them, though. Just a suggestion.

Are you saying we can do that now or in 4.86?
Tau 37 does not have niobium currently does it? Will it be there in 4.86? Also, in the story doesn't Gallia have a presence in Leeds at the Tau 31 jg and in Dublin? If so, there are two mining fields there too as well as a niobium field in Tau 23.
I was thinking about a possible contract with Tenacity's Gallic Junkers.
