Chamberlain was leaning on a wall near the doors, watching the trail unfold before him. He shook his head slowly and mumbled under his breath, "It's only a matter of time until the primary fleet screws up bigger then this. And their fall will be felt across Sirius." He sighed lightly, and glanced over to see the hooded figures leave the room.
"Accusing the Guard of genocide amongst other things. Pathetic, all the Order does is kill humans. Bastards can't distinguish a human from a bloody nomad, and it's starting to get on my nerves." He continued to talk to himself in a low voice, looking back at the trial. "No matter how many people they kill. They're only hurting themselves. Disappointing at the best." He sighed once more and shook his head, pushing himself off the wall and leaving the room. "This just proves the primary fleet has already lost control, and when it spills into Sirius, I'll have to deal with it."
Commander Leigh sat in the Toledo lounge sipping at a sidewinder fang as he gazed at the holoscreen above the bar.
He would very much have liked to have been at the trial himself but as one of the immediate casualties of the TCG's betrayal he had only just been discharged from a medical facility.
He set his drink down and scratched at the bandages on his left arm where shrapnel from the destruction of his vessel had injured him.
As he scratched absentmindedly, Osboune's verdict was read out.
Despite the generally good news, Leigh couldn't help but think that the real fight had just begun. Barnes' arrogant pride would not allow him to give up so easily and it was a given that the Order had not seen the last of the TCG. A war would only put further impediments in the way of progress against the Nomad threat and unless something could be done quickly, the situation could spiral out of control.
The Commander sighed as he picked up his drink and took another sip...

Looks like someone was prepared. Only a few moments had passed since the verdict had been announced, and the damned were just being led out for their final journey, when the planned blow was stuck. Many loyal agents of the TCG emerged, shooting down the guards by surprise and freeing the prisoners. It was a well orchestrated plan, and everyone was caught by surprise. Soon the prisoners were on the ships that had been "liberated" for them, and they made their escape, running out into the void with other Order units still in pursuit.
It took a while for High Command to recover from the blow, but when they did, the announcement was put out. The Runaway TCG pilots were to be caught and brought to the justice prepared for them, and the ships stolen from the shipyards were to be captured, and in an extreme case, destroyed.
