[color=#FF0000]Born during a time of turmoil, and popular resistance, the Southern Alliance was formed to stand between Liberty and the tender embrace of the Void's myriad of minions. To this very day, the Southern Alliance's accomplishments have stood the test of time and all of Sirius can still hear the echoes of her many heroes' battle cries. However, Liberty's enemies are once again amassing before its gates dictating the reincarnation of the Southern Alliance. Its brand of warfare, and tactics, are needed to stem the relentless tide of war. It shall strike Liberty's enemies where they are least prepared and at their weakest. Like their forbearers, the Tejas Squadron shall prevail when all seems lost.
Lieutenant RedBear shall head the once infamous Southern Allaince. Plus, despite the seeming career ending appointment to a backwater post, shall command personally the Tejas Squadron to remove the taint of his fathers by returning honor to Texas, and Liberty, with the defeat of her enemies. As long as one [SA] holds sway within Sirius, Liberty shall prevail! Squadron System - Hudson

Welcome to Tejas Squadron! Where the beer is always cold since frakking Master Chief Watts has yet to fix the Squad bay's heating unit.....
Hmmm...well depending on one's point of view this "promotion," more like exile, could prove a boon and not a bust. I must admit being called "LT" is much better than Ensign, but skipping ahead by one solid rank may cause friction in time. Well, no time to dwell upon what ifs? I spy Master Chief Watts on the horizon...What else is wrong with this frakking Squad bay???
On regular patrol within Pennsylvania system I intercepted a Xeno bomber causing havoc upon local commerce. Overall, I managed to rout the vessel and sent him home with several sections of his vessel floating within the void.
The Kruatland deep raid started from Houston and led to Frankfurt. 5 strikecraft were assembled and detailed for the deep strike mission. Recon video was gained of a research facility before krauts could muster force to intervene. Our wing was intecepted near Hoelstein by several fighters and a cruiser. Our combined strength reduced the cruiser to slag, but upon its destruction I was forced to eject. However, before entering cruise to Texas my comms recorded the destruction of the cruiser.
Overall, the loss of a line vessel shall put a dent in the krauts ability to mount additional attacks upon my system of Tejas. Plus, I have helped show these filthy krauts that they must fear us since their precious military cannot keep them safe all the time.
Hmmm....well despite the frakking cold, thanks Master Chief, Cold Bay is a relatively efficent base of operations...Overall, I have to give the chief credit, despite our poor logistics, he has assembled an excellent deck crew... Now I just need to assemble more pilots...My mission tasks have stretched my pilots to the edge....
On regular patrol I escorted a ship of the line, which was attached to LSF command in an operation in Kansas system. I was then attached to a wing of LSF strikecraft. We engaged a NTF gunboat and it was opened to the void in short order. This event demoralized the NTf forces and a rout ensued. All forces pursued the villian's capital vessel all the way to the borders of Bretonia. Orders were issued to return to station and all vessels complied.
According to scuttlebutt the squadron maybe receiving an obsolete gunboat in the near future.....I wonder if Master Chief Watts can find room within the Bay for such a massive undertaking? I look forward to seeing his face once the LNS-Bruin fills our tiny squad bay...it shall be worth a couple rations of my finest brew...Hehehehe
It is with great joy to announce that the LNS-Bruin has been re-commissioned for active service. Despite its long stay within our mothball fleet, we must say it is in excellent condition. We are sending its specifications and diagrams encoded in this general communication for your inspection. Expect the LNS-Bruin arrival within....Classified....review encoded documentation.
A general alarm was raised Liberty wide upon the news of 2 ships-of-line from Rheinland had entered into Texas. All vessels were called in, but only 4 managed to reach the scene. However, the best that was acheived was wary distance with the Rheinland Battleships returning to Hamburg, with only minor damaged suffered on both sides. Overall, the incident was mostly a show of force and saber rattling. Liberty's ad hoc flotilla consisted of a Carrier, Dreadnought, Battle Cruiser and Gunboat.
