Yes, a lot of the times, it's me responding to those who antagonize me. And this is a wrong on my part. Two wrongs don't make a right, and it just makes me look immature, and stupid.
I've spent a good portion of my time arguing angrily with almost everyone, and gradually becoming distasteful and disliked. Nothing can be accomplished for someone who is disliked by their peers. Both in the real world, and in the world of gaming, it can be a drag when all you have become is a target.
I enjoy the community enough to stick around, thanks to a few good friends, but I get irritated when every time I try to post something that's friendly and intelligent, it just gets dragged down. That's also partially my fault for posting in Flood half of the time.
I don't want to have that happening anymore, and I don't want to be an ass anymore. I've grown up a little bit, and I want to show that I have. I haven't been showing it on Discovery right now, and I've never had a chance to.
I don't apologize a lot. In fact, I don't remember the last time I felt the need to, beyond to my own mother. But maybe I can make an exception for the good people here, and even the bad people.
So here's my formal apology to all of you. To the Admins. To the old members. To the popular and to the jokers.
Maybe we can restart with a clean slate.
Troll this thread and I promise you wont have trouble pooping afterwards. -DL
Apologies are all well and good, and it's a great thing to open yourself up like that, but the true test is in the persons actions after the apology. Only time will tell, but I hope to see you being the person you want to be here in Disco.
Well, arguing is part of being a human. It just depends if it's a clash of an opinions or just "let's argue for the sake of arguing". Guess I don't have to point out which one I find to be allright.
Not sure what exactly have you done, haven't stalked you enough, but serious threads are good... just not in flood. It leads to diseaster. Always. Then you either have to give up on the thread or get angry. Neither one is great, right? Unless I missed something gross, there are other people who should think about behaviour rather than you. Noone specific meant, just haven't got the chance to classify you as an ass. And I classify a lot of people to be an ass.
I buy things I don't want to make an impression on people I don't like.
Anyhow, it is well appreciated of you to make a formal apology. And quite nice to see some people who are actually able to reflect on themselves.
However, as said above, what matters the most is your actions and reactions, thus the real test starts now, after this post.
Peace.
Oh! Just in case, do not ignore Dusty's blue warning in the main post... (directed at everyone) Inflammatory posts will be deleted and formal warnings could be issued.
