and perhaps 90% of the turrets of the game.
Of course they aren't masterpieces but they still only server a minor secondary graphic role.
I would like new station model, they somehow looks redundant in general.
yeah.. zoner turrets are one of the uglyest ones...
they totally dont fit to the zoner shipmodels
but a few questions
-whats a good polycount for them?
-do they need a hitbox (cause I'm hitboxing noob)
-how can I make moving parts on them? (the cannons pipes move up and down while the rest is just turning around. does that need any special thing in the 3D model... or just make one part for the socket and one part for the pipe?)
sarcasm/jokes aside, the dev team is busy with getting other high priority stuff done so we can push 4.86 out finally. if you wish to get something like this done, try giving it a shot yourself. freelancer modding is quite frankly not that hard to do guys, just takes time and patience to learn how to do stuff properly.
hell for turrets you dont even need to make a custom hitbox, you can do it the lazy way!
I love the Zoner models....beautiful......I think the Order Turrets need changed though. They don't look very good on the Resheph....Or what about the Hacker GB turrets? They just look atrocious on the Hacker Gunship...
