Hello, ladies and gentlemen of questionable occupation and history.
As many of you are no doubt aware, there is great upheaval between the Zoners and Corsairs at the moment - a fact which has severely harmed the economy of my particular cash cow. This, of course, is both frustrating and extremely harmful to the economics of my colony. You see, the citizens of quaint Cresthaven are quite up in arms at the sheer number of friends, family, business partners, associates, colleagues, or lovers they have lost. Chaos is not something which a contained colony can allow, and I musn't disappoint my charges. Passage has been purchased, and nothing short of excellence will be delivered. The finest of food, services, laboratories, recreation, and workplaces can only go so far. Physical coddling will not mend the damages to one's pysche when losing a friend.
So action must be taken, you see. They demand it.
Upon consideration, I, as the founder of this colony and ultimate executor of the action which is pressed upon me, have deemed it wisest to subject the entities of our distress to a retaliation of attrition. The situation of dependency on outside aid for the feeding of their populace is no great secret. This must be exploited. One cannot expect stunning results when hundreds of lives are endangered by hired guns attacking their warships. When a populace of millions is stricken with famine, however, reconsideration of their outward expanses is unavoidable.
Thus, I am placing a bounty on any transport taking food to Planet Crete. More specifically, the food itself. Destruction of the vessel is not necessary. If you can talk the captain into releasing the cargo and then vaporizing it, payment will be delivered.
Pricing per/thousand crates destroyed:
One thousand (1000) - 1.5
Vessel Destroyed: 1.5 million credits
Vessel Intact: 2.0 million credits
Two thousand (2000) - 2.5
Vessel Destroyed: 2.5 million credits
Vessel Intact: 3.0 million credits
Three thousand (3000) - 3.5
Vessel Destroyed: 3.5 million credits
Vessel Intact: 4.0 million credits
Four thousand (4000) - 4.5
Vessel Destroyed: 4.5 million credits
Vessel Intact: 5.0 million credits
Five thousand (5000) - 5.0
Vessel Destroyed: 5.0 million credits
Vessel Intact: 5.5 million credits
NOTE:
A bonus of 350.000 credits will be given as compensation for danger if the transport is interdicted less than or equal to 30K from a jump hole leading to Omicron Gamma. Cartographic proof required (with transport on close-range scanners for further proof).
A bonus of 500.000 credits will be given as compensation for danger if the transport is within the Omicron Gamma system.
No compensation will be given if the encounter results in a scrap with the Corsairs and/or escort fighters. Get the transports and get out.
This bounty is only effective for transports and their cargo BOUND FOR Planet Crete. Vessels taking food elsewhere are not eligible.
One hundred fifty million credits has been set aside for this task, and more will become available as outside endeavors develop.
Cargo destroyed in the immediate/relative vicinity of a producer of Food (repeatedly) will be looked at with suspicion for possible assignment abuse and may result in disqualification for the collection of this bounty. Keep this in mind if you have an accomplice with whom you wish to try and cheat me.
This bounty is open to:
Freelancers, Mercenaries, Outcasts, Bounty Hunters Guild (if transport in question is 'unlawful' in nature), disgruntled Zoners acting under stipulation #7 of the Zoner Identification routines.
Mercenary corporations may be hired on retainer in the future. Deals have yet to be struck.
And finally, to reiterate: Killing is wholly unnecessary and an incremental bonus will be paid if only the cargo is destroyed and not the vessel. I think it would be wise to explain to the captain of the vessel in question that you are not pirating them, simply trying to keep them alive while doing a job you were hired to do. If they refuse to cooperate, prices listed above for vessel destruction are in effect.
Of course, I won't accept your word for it. Provide images of the encounters or you won't be getting paid. If I needed an author, I would ask a citizen of the colony to entertain me.
Good hunting.
POST SCRIPT:
Due to a recent wave of fandom regarding Sirian bounty laws sweeping through Gran Canaria, and my fair customers having no greater desire than to be up to date in all regards, I, as the host of Cresthaven, am bound to satisfy their desires. Effective immediately, the Sirian bounty law #8, in cooperation with subsection 6.10:
Parties collecting this bounty must be notably hostile to the Corsair Empire. Upload proof to this channel.
Payment will not be given to those who are in bed with the Empire.
I am a Zoner. You know, not the one who likes when other people teach me how to live, where to live and to live or not to live. And now it's time to protect - not our homes, but our way of life, our principle of freedom and our principle you-should-better-not-betray-me.
Anyway, callsign Psycho.Squirrel is up to stop any supplies.
Gentlemen and ladies, please refer to the newest addendum in regards to this assignment.

I'll go out on a limb here and assume that the image Mister... 'Psycho.Squirrel' uploaded is his proper nature. Or perhaps he strongly dislikes MRE's, I can't quite tell. However it stands to reason that it is proof of his distaste for the Empire. Happy trails, sir.
Verification is still necessary for:
