This is Rebekka Cohrs reporting from The Ring, where Daumann Heavy Construction has announced a revolutionary project on planet Holstein.
Planet Holstein has been a workstation for DHC since its acquisition; minerals mined by its Planetary Mining Division, and a terraforming project which seems to never end... That until now.
"The goal of the project is to increase the current population of the planet from 60 million to roughly 120, accelerate the current terraforming process, and create a space for several industrial projects for the corporation. This cannot be achieved by ourselves only, we will have to contact corporations from other sectors of Sirius specialized in several areas which Daumann doesn't"Said Erick Teahaus, current manager of the terraforming process.
One of the island concepts, By Goethe Engineering.
"Basically we will terraform islands, and use them for a series of projects to ensure the population expansion, an island to create a crop that can effectively grow on the planet, another will house fauna imported from Gaia, if we manage to get a permission; which both together will be the main source of food production for the planet. One last project will house one of our "Fulcrum Generator", which basically is a massive powerhouse which will hopefully supply the whole planet with enough energy, and lastly a set of island to house the new colonizers" said Alex Teahaus, current corporate manager of Holstein- which would be an equivalent to a governor, and father of Erick Teahaus.
<div align="right] One of the concepts submitted by a Oceanic Engineers Inc, rejected for its non-viability.
Currently several corporations and insitutions are on the list of Daumann's planning equipment for negotiation:
-Planetform.
-Kishiro Technolgies.
-Synth Foods.
-Cambridge Research Institute.
-Orbital Spa and Cruise- Public transportation division.
-Bretonian Government.
-Rheinland Government
-Zoner agriculture engineers.
-Transportation freelancers.
The current project is still "a sketch", but Daumann has officially announced that they will go on with the project.
And of course critics moved their political pieces wisely as soon as they heard the news, either to increase or decrease support on the project, let's see some of these critics.
"It was about time, as if Daumann Heavy Construction hadn't broke the ten commandments a hundred times already, they had to take a step further to damnation and name one of their projects Genesis"Said Arthur Holliges, leader of the Community of Christians group.
"Knowing Daumann's lack of morals, these poor furry animals will undergo inhumane, un-natural and cruel experimentation, we cannot accept that even if it mean a good for humans; animal are people too...Kind of...Right?"Said Ericka Greenmann, of the green movement.
The known digital artist "Gotterdamerung", known for his social critic art; published on his neural page a series of pictures, a gallery he has titled "Fulcrum Dawn".
The first picture of the gallery, which goes by the same name of the gallery, shows a planet suffering a huge explosion of the Fulcrum Generator.
Another picture, which has achieved a record hit counter of 20 million views shows a Daumann Tanker flyng by one of "its" platforms.
Another picture which has created concerns, and has flooded Daumann's client service is the picture of supposedly two Planetary Security Division mercenaries standing, however on a further public announcement on his neural page, possibly due to a complaint from Adler legal representatives, Gotterdamerung cleared that they are more an "artistic" representation than accurate.
However positive critics have also been part of the heat.
"What Daumann has chosen to do, will become a greater good for the nation; the terraforming process was already draining the pockets of the corporation, why not spend a little more to actually take a leap forward?"Said a member of the Society of Concerned Citizens of Rheinland.
<div align="right] The concept for Daumann's PMD new HQ
Concept for using underwater colonies instead of islands, it was quickly rejected
The only concept submitted so far for an organics manipulation facility.
The project has yet to start, and the corporations that will be responsible for each small part have still to be contacted and negotiate but should the project achieve the expected goals, Daumann will continue with several projects which are on stand-by, and will take part at Holstein; the construction of several mega factories, the expansion of the PMD, amongst other industrial projects are some of the long list. Daumann will release more information to the public as the project progress
