IMG receives a fair mining bonus for Beryllium, and one of it's stations, Cardiff, focuses on this ore type mainly. However, for IMG players it's a bit troublesome, because the only place you can sell off Beryllium ore is at the "The Ring" facility.

This is a Daumann base which IMG and indy miners may not dock on. Would it not be a good idea to shift the dropoff point for Beryllium Ore to Planet New Berlin, which at present already handles Niobium Ore? Or add a second dropoff point at New Berlin, selling for 500 per unit less or so? That way IMG, independant miners and convoys can drop off this ore type as well. To my knowledge this ore is largely ignored at present, because BMM can't reach the rich field in Tau 23, and IMG/Indies can't drop this ore type off at all.

I talked to Dusty about this months ago on behalf of BMM, as we're in the same boat as IMG with a lacking place to sell Beryllium that's worth the hassle. He seemed OK with the idea.

I'd like to re-throw my hat into this discussion as well to move the sell-point of Beryllium to the planet.

Or...take off the restrictions regarding miners docking on other mining company's bases. If that company can't mine that particular ore, why would the governments and companies hamstring themselves so?
