Do i dare to sell my BS scanner since it is not required anymore, to earn some fast bucks. Or shall i be afraid it will come back as a must, and i will be forced to rebuy????

Will this apply in 4.86 and will all battleships be bought without BS scanners then??

If it's in game, it's required IMO.
Wikipedia isn't really there to make sure you follow the rules. that's what forum and admin staff is for.

Wikipedia isn't complete either. But still some admin input would be welcomed.

BS Scanner is no longer required to posses the BS class ship.
(thats why name was change to BS scanner, not BS License)

Now its just rather expensive scanner.

The BS license rule was removed like, half a year ago or smth I think. So ye, you no longer need a BS license to have a BS. Now the BS license is just a very expensive and un-needed scanner, as someone already said.

The references on the Wiki to the BS license had a lot of people confused. I changed those 2 days ago to reflect the changes to the rules... something that should have been done a long time ago. The Wiki is heavily outdated. Working on it.
