Not long ago I gave the Crossfire mod a go and realised how much has been improved in that mod.
I also noticed tho that barely anyone plays on the server!...Simple question...why isn't it more popular?
Is there something about Crossfire that people don't like or is it just not recognised enough?
after a few days i was bored cause nobody was around and quit...
Thats my exact point...no players....but why...its damn impressive and the graphics and layout have been improved massively...
It would be cool if we could somehow migrate a lot of discovery players to play on Crossfire aswell.
Tried it, didn't like it. It was easy as pie to get credits. I played it for the SP, hoping that I'd be able to do the storyline with new ships and was madly disappointed.
I also played it but didn't like it. The ships are ugly, some stations are also ugly, but this is just a personal opinion. Discovery is more interesting and now that new star wars mod, Freeworlds: Tides of War looks impressive.
I played through SP with Crossfire, very enjoyable. Very pretty weapons, custom starspheres, and explosions. Although there were military patrols in Minor and the Dyson Sphere.
