It is with a sense of hesitance and what one would call unease that I deliver this message. As you know, I have contacted you before at the prospect of 'freshening' up our agreements and a possible alliance. Sadly, you have dismissed us and our war with our various neighbors is becoming more and more bleak without any assistance.
After months of debate and waiting, we of the Nation have come to the agreement that we will no longer inconvenience ourselves in order to satisfy a contract that was never drawn up in our favor. As of now, the Nation and the Bretonian house are no longer neutral. Do not expect assistance from our forces in times of need or compliance from those who enact commerce raiding.
This is not an ultimatum, though, it is merely a warning. You must meet us half way in times like these, and you can not expect us to do all the work on your behalf. If you wish to reengage diplomatic talks, our doors are open.

Sir,
God day to you and i hope you are well.
I reply to this message not as a member of the diplomatic corps but as a member of the BAF so that you know that you are not being ignored or put to the side.
While i do not know of any "agreements" as such i do know that Bretonia is fighting for her life with the Kusari on one side, the hellhole of Dublin in the centre and the damned baby eater 'sairs on the other.
* klaxon sounds the alarm *
Sir, be assured that our diplomatic corps will get to you and sort something out i am sure. Please forgive me, i must go and sort out some damn 'sairs.

[opening message]
Greetings again Mr Fawley.
Concidering our last official contact I am surprised to hear such bitter tone in your transmission. I believed I made clear the intentions of the Crown to your Nation : no hostilities whatsoever, no partnership nonetheless, occasional military support on the spot when relevant.
But you are no fool Mr Fawley and I believe you got it right the last time, so I guess this second transmission must have a purpose anyway. Speak your mind then, we are now waiting for a proposition.
Bretonia has deemed the private use of Cardamine illegal, and as such several of our nationals present in Bretonia at the time has been confined and left to die from Cardamine withdrawal.
Our citizens will be released... if only to be returned to Malta for a proper burial. We may then discuss how the crown can begin to repay us for this random act of madness.

Gentlemen,
Before we go swinging our weapons around like barbaric corsairs. Let's get a few points straightened out. The old guard were the ones that decided to bring the "Stray-Outcast" policy in light of events that weren't stopped by your Government.
Secondly, the private and personal use of Cardamine hasn't been made illegal, so Mister Jameson, your accusation is wrong. Mass shipping Cardamine into Bretonian space is illegal, therefore your accusation and demand will be ignored.
Third, Mister Fawley, the only reason diplomatic talks between the Commonwealth and the Kingdom of Bretonia have slowly dissolved was mainly due to the reformation that has been happening inside of the Government itself. Jumping to the conclusion that you have jumped to doesn't help the situation for anyone.
You, and Mister Jameson, both know the situation we face here in Bretonia. Your threats on the other hand were uncalled for. We're not here to be stepped on, Admiral, remember which government recognized yours as an independent state.
