i m afraid - but this is a subject of negotiations. - if you totally disagree with a situation in RP - imagine how your character would try to resolve the issue.
think of what the faction you wish to approve your ship might consider the approval. - try to imagine what dangers they foresee, what they agree to when approving a cruiser class vessel to a faction that is not one of their allies.
think of what might be done by these people - and then think of how you can start to soothe the concerns.
i wasn t aware that we were presented with absolutes - but rather with dynamically negotiable terms - to learn more of each other.
let me quote you from your very first post:
"[font=Courier][color=#FFCC33]<span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%]We can talk about everything over this channel."
[color=#000000][font=Arial]this suggested to me that you were willing to talk about it. - naturally - demands are made in excess - so that there is freedom of negotiations.
maybe that was misinterpreted.
you have to consider that:
- your faction is unknown to us
- and while your offers are sufficient....
- your credibility is non existent at the moment to our faction
out concern is that we cannot - under ANY circumstances be blamed for ANYTHING that might involve a vessel that was granted. - the past shows that we have to be exceedingly cautious in that respect as it is likely to be exploited by other factions.
so we will always install various fail-saves. ( at least if you are dealing with that faction )
the tenor of the limitations says "once we think you are not a model captain anymore - and your actions tarnish our reputation in any way - we take back what is ours"
these terms are made clear in such a way, cause an earlier edict stated - that once approved based on the original request - things cannot be taken back.
this is a one way road for us - and zoners have gotten into trouble for that before. - so you have to understand ( or you may try to understand ) that we WILL ask for .... well... rediculous limitations and rights. - cause we have no other way to deal with you - once you decide that you may not quite honour the original "tone" of the agreement - or that you grew strong enough to ignore it.
the terms may have been discussed and possibly loosened a little - but i daresay - as long as we can be blamed for whats done with our gear - and as long as we are helpless once its approved, such limitations WILL be installed on such equipment.
luckily you can try to achieve a deal with the other zoner parties, who have an equally great reign over the corvo, as it is sold not in 74 - but in theta.
edit:
- pure self defense, or more friendly terms are applied on people that we trust in RP - which are most likely our hardcoded allies ( gmg / order )
