553rd Rheinland Military Wing, Aka; Death Guard, or Toten Garde
Part of the Secondary Fleet, special operations and Deep Strike teams
553rd wing is part of the 'Die Todeskandidaten' project in 589 A.S
Originally a project for condemned prisoners to serve their life sentences in service of the Nation
Was put to dust because of popular opinions from the citizens
-------------
553rd was re-established in 816 by secondary fleet commander Erhard Von Krieger
It was to act as a specialized wing of Military members that had been known to be outspoken against both Kusari and Bretonia, caring only of the Vaterland's safety and prosperity.
Krieger had speculated that with the paranoid aspect in the soldiers, they would be paranoid off all intercepted transports and ships, that way all where to be treated with mistrust and suspicion.
Directly under the HC's command they act and move as any Primary wing, led by Von Krieger

[color=#33CC00]Another day another crushing blow to those that stood in my way..
-He draws in deep-
Today me and Major Rihstadt patrolled around Hamburg, several civilian vessels passed trough without any problems, but there where a few that where to say the lease, suspicious.
A civilian marked transport ship attempted to fly away from our location, the captain had stopped it's progress trough the trade lane 2 lanes before it's final 'normal' destination.
Rihstadt went after the for now suspicious vessel, as we attempted to ask it to shut down it's engines, it's captain began evasive maneuvers, Rihstadt began to fire disruptor missiles at the target but it evaded the missiles with countermeasures.
I attempted to circle around the area and get in front of the transport ship, but after almost half an hour Rihstadt sen confirmation that the captain had evaded him and he was no longer in radar range.
We fell back to our original patrol section, almost 2 minutes arriving to the location, several Liberty Targets came into range, they showed as secondary fleet commanders of the Liberty Navy, 1 gunboat and 2 fighters.
Rihstadt in his Wraith fighter attacked the fighters keeping them off my Fafnir bomber, the Gunboat proved to be a bigger threat then expected, it was designed and armed for Anti-Fighter capabilities.
Several minutes later Rihstadt had destroyed one of the Liberty fighters, which left one target for him.
I had hull damage but no real threat, while the gunboat had multiple hull breaches, the Gunboat's captain did mistakes, allot of them, which ended with his reactor core malfunctioning and giving me the chance to shoot a dual torpedo into it's bridge effectively destroying the gunboat with all hands.
The last fighter had began to flee at this point, Rihstadt began to pursue the target but I ordered him back.
All in all, a great day for the 553rd, and another blow against the Liberty scum.
