Yeah... The Outcasts bring the Cardimine right through Mactan on their way to Liberty. The Hackers just get it there, in exchange for information on the transports that'll be passing.

I kinda see the BW fighter series as a collection of old but good designs used in many different places... They aren't unlawful ships (Freelancer NPCs use them), but are used by many unlawfuls. Hessians, Hackers, and Outcasts all make them... And maybe Junkers too, since I think some are available on Junker bases.
Lane Hackers and Outcasts work again the Liberty Navy together quite alot. The Lane Hackers get Outcast ships, and there are many many Outcast patrols around Mactan and pirating throughout Liberty. They should stay allied. They have been since Vanilla.
GC and BD should also stay allied. They do NOT have completely different goals. Blood Dragons want to put the original and rightful Shogun's heirs on the throne, the GC want a government that can have women in it, and a society where women are equal. Both cases involve the taken down of the current government and replacing it with someone new. Blood Dragons could easily have made a deal that if they win, their government will give more rights to women, which is believable since they work equally with GC all the time already.
All the revolutionary Rheinland factions should be allied, and those that are simply pirates should be friendly. Some get equipment from Corsairs, some from Outcasts, but should not be allied to either of the two. They should be friendly to the group that supplies their equipment though.
And I think Zoners need to lose their alliance with GMG.
Oh, and I resent the term 'Bundy's.' We Bundschuh are people too..

Right on all counts apart from the GC/Blood Dragons. They should be allied, yes, due to their common enemy, but their goals are rather different. If GC wanted 'equality', they wouldn't be 100% female. They want a matriarchy. The Blood Dragons want a Shogun, a historically masculine position, and don't want Cardamine flooding Kusari, which would happen if the GC had their way.

Yes, they want a matriarchy, but they also really want equality. That they are 100% female, shows their anger at the current balance.
I think if GC were given the choice (since BD is the stronger of the two) they would opt for the Shogun's heir with equality, rather than to go from defeating the KNF to attempting to defeat the Blood Dragons as well.

Yeah, yeah... I forgot how to spell 'Bundschuh'.
GC, from what I've seen, don't want a society that is fair to women... They want a matriarchy, ruled by women. Blood Dragons aren't looking for a matriarchy, they want the rightful heir on the throne (and the rightful heir is always male, since Kusari is a Japanese society). So I see them friendly, but not really allied.
I'd really like to see the Lane Hackers neutral, whatever their alliance was in single player. That's my main point with this thread... Every unlawful faction is very clearly Corsair-ally or Outcast-ally (most are Outcast-ally). We need some middle ground, more than just the Junkers. I think the Lane Hackers and Dragons are the best options for that neutral middle ground. The Hackers especially are the perfect faction to be working all sides for their own benefit. And BW ships aren't exclusively made by Outcasts... Unless Freelancers are allied to the Outcasts.
A matriarchy isn't equality. It's women over men. However, I do see them allied, like the USSR and USA were in World War 2. They had differing goals, but a common enemy.

I suppose GC/BD could be allied, but the BD shouldn't be more than neutral towards the Outcasts, even if they're the ally of an ally. Politics are complex... Just because your ally is allied to someone else, doesn't mean you like that someone else.

Agreed one zillion per cent. Yes, I made a number up.
