EXPEDITION LOG ENTRY 1

Everything is going as planned. The equipment is checked and we are leaving Honshu at 18.10.
Personal note:
I'm confident that we'll reach Omega 11 in a week. The only thing I'm worried about are pirates. Our main scanner is calibrated to search for remnants of ships on planets. We can only detect hostile vessels that are closer than 5000 units. We'll need luck.

EXPEDITION LOG ENTRY 2
ID: FRANZ MAISTERThe voyage from Kusari to Rheinalnd was something unremarkable, it took five days, as expected. No pirates, no terrorists and supprisingly no jump gate traffic jams. The ship functioned perfectly and we have managed to test the quantum computer. It runs like a well oiled machine. The batteries are supplying it with power and we can recharge them while our shields are off-line. All ship systems are functioning perfectly.
The scanner managed to locate ancient probes on Potsdam. We are extremely pleased by its performance. Kishiro engineers did their job.
As soon as we get permission from Daumann (I don't doubt we will), we will enter Omega 11. I hope it is less crowded with Hessians, as they say it is.
Personal note:
We have received an odd transmission while through passing Neu Berlin. It seemed that those Libertonians are spreading their rotten propaganda machine. I hope the Military crushes them soon.

We have permission to use Solarius station. DHC was quick this time and bureaucracy didn't halt our progress this time. We plan to reach Omega 11 in 60 hours. Solarius station control is notified and we hope that we'll get a so much needed warehouse.
Personal note:
Hessians, Hessians and yet again Hessians. Everyone seems to be worried about their presence. Well, I'll leave these worries for tomorrow.

Today is the day we leave the safety of Solarius and head to the unknown. At 15.15 our ship will detach from Solarius. Planet Deidus is now in reach. All equipment is still functioning and has survived radiation exposure we have encountered so far. Our supplies are sufficent for roughly 50 days in open space, more if in orbit.
Hans Bauer, our pilot has had a fight on the station with one of miners. Luckily he can still fly. His love for alcohol is worrying.
The quantum computer is extremely helpful, it's auto guidance systems are excellent.

EXPEDITION LOG ENTRY 5

DAMAGE REPORT:
-[font=Times New Roman]HULL PLATES 13-A, 14-A and 15-A DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR BY AN ASTEROID AT 13.00 REPLACED AT 17.00.
-INSULATION ON WIRE 1107-Sc MELTED. LIGHT EMITTING PLATE IN STORAGE ROOM 2 CURRENTLY NON-FUNCTIONAL
-MINOR RADIATION DAMAGE SUSTAINED
Personal note: Worrying, but not life-threatening. It seems that I'll have a lot of work to do. Planet Deidus is sheltering us from intense radiation. As long as we stay here, we have nothing to fear.
We are in low orbit of planet Deidus. Scanning of it's surface was initiated at 18.00. First scanner reading received at 18.02. Quantum computer analysed the data and, found only natural radioactive isotopes. Everything is functioning perfectly.
Unknow signal received, asking us about our work. Reply has been sent, demanding the mysterious sender to ID himself.
Scanning is still continouing. However that is not something unespected. One hing that is od, was Jutta Schmied. More preciesely her begaviour. We are not out here long enough, to explain this. Everyone on this vessel has been tested for psyhical stabillity. What could explain hose halucinations? I have no answer. Even she doesn't exactly know what happend. She described it like images, or faint memories of her home, back on planet Hambug, from her childhood.
I'm beginning to suspect that this star, this system has certain effects on human mind, for it resembles only one place - hell.
For now, I'll keep an eye on her. I'm the only one who knows about this, for there is no need to strain my coleges too much.
I am a medical officer on this ship. I am supposed to look after my colegues. Ironically I'm beginning to susupect my sanity, or better Herr Maister does. Right now even I don't know what happend on that day. How to describe something you have never experienced before. Perhaps I was just too tierd to think rationally. I must analyise this, like it would happen to someone else. It's difficult. Hallucinations are not something to not take seriusly, especially so far from home. And again I return to that. Thinking about myself and what happend to me will drive me crazy. Why did I heve to go on this expedition?
Self pitty won't help me, after all it happend to me just once...or twice...
Scanner readings taken at 20.57 and 19.10 confirm my speculations. At least 3 different man made radioactive isotopes can be found 3145, to 3130 m below the avrage surface elevation. Scanner readings will be sent to New Berlin for further authentication. Unfortunetly the isotopes are burried too deep for us to finance an excavation at this point. Therefore I'll send a detailed reprt to Institutes leadership and to Rheinland ministry of education, research and sport. Hopefuly we'll receive much needed support.
We will leave orbit tomorrow at 6.00 Standard New Berlin time. Hans Bauer guarantees that our ship is prepared for crossing the gap between safety of Planet Deidus and Solarius Station.
