[color=#000000]The Crew is a street gang founded on Planet Manhattan, New York. The gang is widely known for its rivalry with other street gangs. They are identified by the black color worn by their members and by particular gang symbols, including a distinctive eagle. The Crew was founded by the notorious rapper, Curtis Jameson, and by a close friend, Bruce Mathers.
The Crew was formed initially to compete against the influence of the Outlaws on Planet Manhattan. The origin of the Crew and their rivalry with the Outlaws dates to the mid 815s, where the 332nd Avenue street gang, originally a subgroup, or faction, of the Outlaws, broke off during an internal gang war, and allied with other smaller gangs to found the gang that would eventually become known as The Crew. At the time, Outlaw sets outnumbered The Crew sets by three to one. To assert their power despite this difference in numbers, The Crew became increasingly violent, especially against rival Outlaw members, armed conflicts were standard during the night. The 332nd Avenue street gang are therefore considered to be the original founders of The Crew. During the rise of cardamine, the gang's focus shifted to drug production. The Crew sets operate independently of each other, and are currently known to control the downtown districts of Manhattan.
By 817, thousands of members of The Crew street gang were establishing themselves as a formidable force among gangs and continued a steady drive for recruitment under the lead of Curtis Jameson. At this time, The Crew was living in the general peace after the dissolution of the Outlaws. This changed when the LPI had some indisputable evidence against their leader, Curtis Jameson.
Black Star, 332nd Avenue, Planet Manhattan.
Their headquarters of The Crew is without doubt the famous Black Star nightclub, on the 332nd Avenue, the police investigators think that the club extends on several underground facilities, in which The Crew produces high ammounts of cardamine, weed, and other drugs. The drug deal and the several nightclubs scattered around Manhattan earn The Crew several millions of credits per week.

[color=#FFFFFF]± The Crew[color=#000000]:
[color=#FFFFFF][color=#000000]The Crew is known to have strong relations with the Outcasts, since the main activity of The Crew is to distribute the orange dream, but The Crew aren't addicted to cardamine. They only push it on the market of Mahattan, earning them a great ammount of money. Since their alliance with the Outcasts, The Crew made strong alliances with the Rogues, the Lane Hackers, the Junkers and various independent pirates and smugglers. Under the lead of Curtis Jameson, the few members of The Crew who left Manhattan after the recent exchange of gunfire between The Crew and the LPI, started to actively hunt the enemies of their allies, including the Corsairs, the Bounty Hunters Guild, the Liberty Police, the Liberty Navy, and several pilots that had the bad luck to challenge them.

[color=#FFFFFF]± The Crew[color=#000000]:
After the shooting in the Black Star between the LPI and The Crew, a handful of members left Manhattan in order to avoid the Liberty Police for some time. Those few members, including their leader, Curtis Jameson, the vice-leader, Michael Mathers and some bodyguards and trusted friends of Curtis are currently working as unlawful mercenaries.
They have been seen attacking Navy pilots for the Liberty Rogues and Bounty Hunters for the Lane Hackers. The Crew is known to provide high quality services for those who pay well. After they've escaped Manhattan and the LPI, they asked themselves, what do we do now? The answer was simple, the continous flow of money from their activity back on Manhattan allowed them to have a nice life even if they were hunted by the lawfuls, pirating was pointless, but they had a better idea to revenge on Liberty, hunting the lawful forces. The various unlawful groups in Liberty provided some bounty contracts for them, The Crew never failed.

Curtis Jameson II [color=#000000]50 Credits Forum ID: Jack Aubrey
Curtis Jameson II(born July 6, 783 AS), better known by his stage name [color=#000000]50 Credits, is a Libertonian rapper and outlaw. Born in Kings, Curtis began drug dealing at the age of twelve during the 795s cardamine rise. After leaving drug dealing to pursue a rap career, he was shot at and struck by four bullets during a gunfire exchange in 808. After founding The Crew in 816, Curtis discovered Michael Mathers and he signed him to The Crew. With the help of Marshall, who helped him trough the years, Curtis became one of the most wanted criminals in Manhattan, with several charges, that includes drug dealing, murder and gambling. In 818, he was forced to escape with Bruce from Manhattan after the "Midnight Fire".
[color=#000000]Michael Mathers (born October 17, 780) known with the nick of MM. Marshall lately met Megan and he currently has one girl at the age of 7.
* Recruitment is free for everybody, just make a short biography, a character based on some rapper or other musical character. Send it over PM to me then. And then welcome to The Crew.
The garage of The Crew is probably the biggest black market of ships and weaponry on Manhattan, they usually display ships from the Civilian Line, the Border Worlds line and some rare ships constructed by the many unlawful groups and factions across Sirius.

Common Ships:
Griffin - CTE-4000 Civilian Light Fighter
Based on the popular Hawk, the Griffin's similar external appearance hides a completely rebuilt interior, with a lighter frame supporting expanded nanobot storage banks and an expanded cargo bay. The wings have been completely restructured, with reinforced armor struts and extra power cell storage to support its superior maneuvering thrusters and enhanced weaponry over its predecessor.

Falcon - CTE-3000 Civilian Heavy Fighter
As the name attests, this ship is formidable and is well-deserving of the reputation that it enjoys. With a balanced combination of refined offensive and defensive technologies, the Falcon delivers an astonishing amount of potential firepower to potential adversaries quickly and efficiently.
Eagle - CTE-6000 Civilian Very Heavy Fighter
[color=#FFFFFF]Few vessels have seen as much popular and widespread use in Sirius as the CTE-6000. With her ease of maintenance, rugged reliability and near universal supply of readily available parts, the nimble Eagle often finds itself in service as the space superiority fighter of choice for pilots ranging from convoy escorts to house terrorists.
Roc - CTE-19000 Civilian Bomber
[color=#FFFFFF]Ironically labelled a 'civilian' bomber by its Libertonian designers, who also developed such classics as the [color=#000000]Eagle fighter, there is little civil about this piece of kit.
This ship is now being used by various civilian corporations that find themselves being pirated by gunboats and similar, who purchase this ship from construction yards or build it themselves after acquiring the rights to its patent. Also of note is the rather large amount of these ships found in the possession of criminal organisations such as the Xenos in Liberty and the Golden Chrysanthemums in Kusari space.
This may indicate that these groups are able to cannibalise the hulls of their Eagles and modify them to make them into bombers, or that they have more financial support for their military machines than lawmen would have previously imagined.
Seen all over Sirius, in the hands of corporations, criminals, Zoners and Freelancers, this bomber is a versatile piece of equipment, handy for those that all-too-often find themselves on the wrong end of big guns.

Custom Ships:
Moldy Crow - Civilian Heavy Fighter
Ramshackle vessels built of spit and ingenuity... But mostly spare parts... The oversized and underpowered Crows are the nimble strike fighter of choice for those pilots who favor dizzying speed over a compact frame.
Spatial - E78-12 Civilian Deep Space Explorer
The Spatial is often employed by members of the Independent Miners Guild for exploring the asteroid fields of the Taus and Omegas. Larger than most fightercraft the Spatial packs nearly the same punch as some military bombers, but its real attributes are to be found in the extended pilot bay and full sized geological survey suite that is the hallmark of this far ranging vessel.
Capable of sustained flight beyond a system's heliosphere to adjacent systems, the spatial possess he cold sleep and life support systems to maintain up to five persons for years of sustained voyaging. Armed with six long burn Ageira engines, any of which are capable of powering the craft independantly, in addition to internal access to critical ship systems.
IMG pilots often retrofit their vessels with the basic tools required to glean an additional yeild, when coupled with specially tuned mining equipment, from mineral and gemstone deposits.
[color=#000000]Sabre - Series Z Border Worlds Fighter
As commerce and some economic freedoms began to flood the Border Worlds, so did greater access to technology and the need for change. The Sabre is the fruit of the Border Worlds' ingenuity and pure capitalism coalesced into one lethal embodiment. This ship boasts enormous power capacity as well as extreme defensive capability.
Falcata - Series ZX Border Worlds Bomber
The Falcata is the latest development of the Outcasts that utilizes the pinnacle of modern ship engineering technologies. Efficient power array combined with enough agility to dodge capital ship fire - and enough hull strength to withstand occasional hits - make this bomber one of the most deadly ships of its class available on the market today.
But.. The thing is.. When you want to talk diplomacy with other factions it's just gonna' be weird. I mean seriously, if you wanted to do business with the outcasts for example, here's how's they see it: Three people talking to a nation that owns planets full of people.
:/
I don't think people are gonna like, listen to ya.. In-RP, i mean.
I'll just make a quick comment here. I honestly cannot support that you've taken Eminem's real name, and his picture, and just made a copy of him in FL world. At least change his name a bit, or the picture.
Curtis Jameson I can understand. Still not cool, but at least you took James and Jackson and mixed them up a bit.
I kinda like your metaphor for the gang wars between the crips and bloods in LA (or wherever). Being a resident of Detroit and a witness to some really shady things, though, I have to say that some of this might be in bad taste. Laying back a little bit on the gangster stereotype in space would probably be a good idea, since gangsters flying [well] is somewhat laughable. Then there's the exact copy of Eminem, who is actually one of the most respectable people you can ever talk to who I doubt would ever be a part of a gang at this point of his life. I don't really know the other 2 rappers you have there, and I can understand the part where they appeal to gangsters and have that kind of fashion to sell their albums, but not copying their lives to a tee would be nice.
Overall not a poor concept, though. Just needs a little help in the delivery.
Also, please, lets use something other than Sabres. Kingfisher and Havok should be somewhat available to you, as well, since you're Liberty pirates. Using those more than the Sabre/Switchblade/Falcatta would be a nice change in pace.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
So, you're back Jack? Interesting. Well, I wish you all the good luck but I must say it would be cool if the Crew would act as smugglers. In other words, try and roleplay a stealth group that does smuggling. Like this: Buy cardamine from Omicron Alpha ( I just forgot the name of the Outcast planet, so bleh ) and smuggle it down to Manhatten. 4 ships or members should do enough for like: 1x Transport, 2x fighters and 1x bomber. Nothing more if you ask me.
That's all from me. :cool:
