Lords and ladies of the realm, Capitaines, marshalls, commanders and all other servants in his name ; hear me.
Several hours ago, members of his majesty's secondary fleet decided to make the most arrogant of moves. The most hateful, despicable, honor less amongst them showed their true colours and openly disobeyed direct orders from the Lord Marechal, Blaise Mersenne, and her highness Alice DeFrance. In doing so, they opened fire on the RNS-Nantes with two Valor class warships. The Nantes fell and lost many of her crew in the process. A small number of brave men and women, including the princess could be rescued. A small number now screaming out for vengeance.
It is on days like these, these unusual days, that I feel like quoting my father, Grande Marechal Acel LaCroix. Everything that needs to be said, he said before us.
'Treason is like a tree, its roots lie in the darkness whilst its leaves wave in the sun and to those who suspect nought, it has an attractive and pleasing appearance. Truly, you can prune away its branches, or even cut the tree to the ground, but it will grow up again ever the stronger and ever more comely. Yet all awhile the root grows thick and black, gnawing at the bitter soil, drawing its nourishment from the darkness, and growing even greater and more deeply entrenched. Such is the nature of treason, and this is why it is so hard to destroy, for it must be eradicated leaf, branch, trunk and root. It must be exorcised utterly or it will return all the stronger, time and time again, until it is too great to destroy. Then we are doomed.'
For the action of firing on his majesty's forces, war machines and family, there is only one answer ; The culprits shall be destroyed, their carcass' brought before him and tossed into the deepest unmarked grave. From this day forth, all RSC forces shall be marked as Seperatist. Traitors to king and nation for all eternity.
For those of you doubting that a servant of his majesty could ever fire upon another, as I did, images procured of the event by his true servants can be found here.
We are his shield, we are his sword, we are his mailed fist and book of justice.
