Good day, Navy officers,
I am Viktor Stein, in command of the ALG mover Reductor. Our vessel has been assigned to the Liberty cleanup contract. With the current war, I fully understand extra scrutiny for ALG vessels, and you won't hear me complain about frequent stops for cargo inspections and scans, or reminders to stay clear from Navy assets. We've tried to keep out of your way, in continuing to clean the irradiated northern fields in the Texas system, to reduce the danger to traffic there.
However, one of your siege cruisers patrolling the New York system seems to be unaware that ALG is still contracted to Liberty for this purpose, and indicated to need to escort me out of Liberty space. The vessel ID read LNS-CapeTown. An unexpected, but heavy ion storm forced both of us to dock before we could get underway, and once it passed, the Capetown was nowhere in sight, so we simply went back to what we're being paid for in Liberty: Hazardous debris cleanup.
Now, this is not a complaint, but merely a request. Could someone inform the Capetown that ALG still performs services for Liberty, and as such, booting us from Liberty space is counterproductive? We respect the Liberty restrictions regarding bringing Rheinland ships and weaponry into Liberty space - as such ALG Golem class vessels (armed with generic transport defense turrets to fend off pirates) are the ships we use, even if this is sometimes not optimal.
