Some people have this issue that they want a tag but the faction is above a list of 12 fully green factions.
They don't want to ruine all their green reps.
so here is my idea with the following commands:
/setrep <faction>
Changes the IFF to the by you set faction.
You can only change it to a faction thats 0.9 in the green.
it will cost about 1mill, since it's more direct then what we have now
/showreps
This will show all the faction commands, or when the list gets to long it will say something like,
'Please visit www.discoveryfl.com/wiki to view the full list of the factions'
/setrepinfo
Don't know if this is needed, but it could contain special info about how to use it,
for example:
- '/setrep cost 1mill each time'
- 'You need to relog after you used this command'
- 'You can only change to a faction tag that is already fully friendly'
The benifit from this is that you can more directly change your IFF without to much problems of wasting your friendly factions.
I think it's possible to make although it needs some time to get all the faction filled in.
But I think cannon should be able to know if it's really possible.
Awesome idea, gj man.
Not sure if this would be implanted though.
Also, if I'm right, this should be in the 'Discovery Mod General Discussion' or whatever-you-call-it forum.
If possible, this should be implanted
*Waits for someone to say something on how to abuse this function*

FLhook stuff ain't mod stuff but server stuff;)
Also your ID still counts and ID's have rep ninja's so you won't just change IFF to your enemies that easily.
Maybe putting a cooldown time on it just like the /renameme when used to can re-do it within 15 mins, but after that you'll have to wait 7 days before using it again?
Yeah people are smart to think of loopholes but maybe this idea might be improved to make the chance less likely.
This idea been brought up multiple times... Don't want to ax it down, but everytime it's been flamed because "Be happy we even have /droprep, there was a time when people had to fly around for 20 hours and shoot NPCs to get the IFF they need." or "Are -You- the one who's gonna write it? Cannon already has enough work to do."
I like this idea, it makes things easier, but still, I understand that this command wont appear out of the blue (NOT ench's Char >: |) so yeah...
Maybe we need a few more FLhookers on disco? (Err... Ok, Now it's startin to sound wrong <_<)
