Greetings, Mr. Lovecrepe,
Some passing trade ships originating from Freeport 10 informed me that I might find you on this channel. I do hope they are correct.
I am Matok, son of Grosch, and I am in charge of Freeport 6. I was the Tau Marshall during the old Zoner Defense Force time but when it dissolved, I was handed command of the station. I also make patrols in my cruiser protecting Zoner interest.
We are not so far apart here in the Taus and while they have been for the most part, peaceful, I keep my eyes to the western stars but that is for a later discussion.
I would like to meet and discuss patrols and such through the Taus, possibly working together and such. We are more of a rest stop for passing traders here but we do have a fighter wing as needed. I can make a trip to Freeport 10 whenever you may have time. Of course, if you are in the neighborhood of Freeport 6, just ask for me. My men will escort you to my office.

-TEXT FORMAT INBOUND-
Good day to you, Commander.
It would appear that those passing trade ships were indeed correct, and I am thankful for that. As it happens, I have been meaning to contact you myself, for a more or less similar purpose. Both of our homes have historically coexisted and assisted each other over the last (almost) 60 years. I had hoped to reaffirm our ties and create an atmosphere of mutual assistance. I am pleased to hear you striving for a similar goal.
Before addressing any of your other points, I will however state that all Zoners are and always will be welcome at Freeport 10. All public areas of the station are open to our Zoner brethren (of course, certain residents of the Omicrons will be frisked for explosives as standard before being permitted entrance to the biodomes). Your patrol ships would of course be accepted with open arms. We are working together to ensure a brighter future in an otherwise cold and cruel frontier, after all. The station isn't designed to harbour capital ships, but in the case of your cruiser, or other Zoner capital ships, we would strive to find some way to make things work.
Now, on to the meat of your transmission. I would be more than happy to set up a meeting. Given that Freeport 6 is larger in general and more suited to commerce, I would be more than willing to fly over to attend a meeting. I would be interested in discussing trade links, given Freeport 10's merchant fleet's sudden growth. I'm afraid any shared responsibilities on security would be a rather lop-sided deal though; our security wing is mostly non-existent. I look forward to a personal meeting though. I look forward to seeing you in the future.
