made that - mostly for fun. - a concept of how a zoner Jinkusu might look like in several generations. ( like 100 - 200 years )
the main aspect of the ship is that i used a "different" technique to model it - that is why it shows a lot more detail in the meshwork.
- now that is NOT a submission ( but during the works, i thought one might maybe actually "break" it - and replace the "lost battlestar" - and move the lost battlestar to a remote corner of "lost" or so )
- the ship features a much larger array of biodomes - and a huge engine section as you can see
- it has only few windows - and features many interlinked heavy armour plates.
i dare say - the rogue shipline is one of those shiplines that might look the very same in the future - ( just with a heavier engine inside ) - i don t think the rogues care much for design - cause none really shows on their fighterline ships.
spazzy: the design comes from the CIS frigate origin - but not in such a massive state alright.
on these designs - the tail works as a counterweight. - the zoner ships have a very heavy "head" section - and the engines are usually attached near the center of the ship ( and not really in the very rear )
not having a massive tail makes them look cut short ( literally )
the tail isn t that massive though - its just the perspective - but it is quite large. - i could also lengthen the engines to "fill up" some space - but its a design element.
the idea of that concept ( aside from trying out a new technique ) was to make a ship that looked a lot more like a warship - while maintaining the "colony" feeling.
