Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.
While this is a good idea, you need to elaborate on some areas. First, I want you to take a map and find three possible RV points for the group. Second, I want you to determine exactly what a rescue force would be comprised of, and where they would be stationed. You will also need to select which of the possible exit points would be used. I would also like you to propose a date, and speak with your fellow captains and pilots to find a crew willing to take on this operation.

Interesting enough, although we would have to use the jump holes. Going from to Frankfurt from Hamburg and then New Berlin from Frankfurt would be a easy way to get through un-noticed. Although we should use a pair of Grizzly's to scan each side of the system quickly and efficiently, perhaps each Grizzly should be escorted by a pair of Arrows from the new Barracuda wing. I'll review this later. Consider asking the LSF to upgrade a few of our Grizzly's to be able to do this.
This seems like a good idea to me. However, we would need a distraction. There's a cruiser on Norfolk that's ir-repairable that would fit this job perfectly. Just fix the engines, patch the holes, and put some basic weapons and there we go! And another thing, Grizzly's are good, but having one as the extraction ship wouldn't work too well I don't think. It has a lot of armor, but when it comes to firepower, it lacks a bit where some ships make up. I'm thinking something like the Spatial would work for extraction. Ya know? It's got a lot of guns, room for some med supplies, data storage banks, and if it takes a stray torpedo hit, its entire body is made of engines, so you can still hop on outa there with the recon wing.
And I agree with Anders, some Arrows to go with the Blackbird would be a good idea, so they could distract any patrols you may come across.
Get everything finalized, and this has a chance of success!
