Their are programs for that. I used one ALOT when I did trading. 1/3 Screen Freelancer other 2/3 Skype and Youtube and what not.

I used a program called Direct3D Windower. Newest version you can find. Its hard to find.

Gets the job done. Puts Freelancer in Windowed and displays real time updates. Hence in the screenshot shows fps count.
I can't find it myself right now after I installed Win7. It may be on my external. If I find it I'll test it on here and report back. And throw it on a Hosting site for you all.
You could try to load a video driver that supports monitor spanning - Stretching your monitor resolution to both your screens. Note that your monitors must be exactly the same resolution for this to work. It will also cause the user interface to be split between the monitors, right at the center - that can't be helped.
