Did you has already told someone that you both looks beatiful? I think yes. Are we complete now? However. I think you want know who we are, but I won't tell now all about us, I'll just tell you a few words:
*Manuel shows all his hand inside, making a fist and counts to five words, each word is a finger*
Revenge - Bretonia, help - Planet - Gaia
My bodyguards and me are here, to make you an interesting offer. The Shaulanca Fleet want bring the darkness over Bretonia. We want get my Revenge and kill all these Bretonia Armed Forces soldiers and their allies, example: This Bretonia cooperations like Gateway Shipping and Bowex. The Gaians are the one and only Group in Bretonia which are not corrupt, which have a clean thinking and are friendly. You try to defend Planet Gaia with your lives and that for that we respect you very much. Gaia is the one and only Planet in sirius with full of living nature, right? So, we see no reason in it to hurt you, my Gaian friends. You are the one and only exception in Bretonia, specially Edinburgh. The sun of Edinburgh will not be dark, don't be worry. So I think you can need sometimes a hand. We won't bring you in the direction of terror, darkness, pirate or murding peoples - You could call us, when you need help against this big armys of the Bretonians. What do you think? Ehm, Wait... wait wait....
*Manuel scratches his head and say:* And where the hell is actually my fruit tea?
Jesus gets even more tensed since the girls are in. With distrustful views he watches everything. His mouth is a small line and he hasn't said anything since the others arrived. The third guy is still at the corner and watches the meeting quietly. Sometimes he taps something in a datapad. "My master..." Jesus trys to get Manuels attention quietly. "We should have done this meeting at the Shaulanca. No puedo garantizar su seguridad."
While clearly ignoring that severe querulous man roaming around and the other one with his intellectual voyeurism and concentrated on eliciting the reeasons behind Manuel's reasons to be here, Manuel's interests in Bretonia, Manuel's approach to the Corsairs without "direction of terror, darkness, pirate or murding peoples" - in other words, was a questioner, quite annoying, but at the same time cute enough to make up for it.
"So, Manuel, why Bretonia? Why Gaia? Why me, Hikari and Druce? Are you really going to send your people on ideological war against the corrupt government to support a group of people trying to put an end to destruction of nature with the less pleasant methods ever?" Sequoia elbowed the table and pillowed her head on her arms before adding, "We can always use a hand in our work, you are right. Just understanding the reasons behind others' actions let us trust each much more."
Principles, Sequoia found them a pretty interesting phenomenon. She actually liked Manuel's shourt speach, but she barely trusted him when he was talking about the friendship. Sequoia hardly believed in friendship, moral and convincing ideological basis when it came to wars. Her experience was clearly different.
Manuel is frightened because, admitted his views are very heavy. Darkness, Terror and grudges in Bretonia. But the Gaians are the only exception. Why they are it? Manuel makes mysterious hand moves and begin to explain the Gaians why they are the one and only exception in Bretonia.
Dear Gaians, it is easy to explain why you are the one and only exception in Bretonia. What are you doing? You fight with all what you have for Gaia, you try to be political and fight with your own lives for Gaia at the same time. You fight against the Bretonia Armed Forces, our - *Manuels voice will for 2 seconds very loud, he raises his index finger and says:* MAINTARGET at the moment. We feel sorry for you and we respect it very much that you fight against a state which destroy their own planets with industrys, emissions, pollution. That is one more reason to kill more peoples of Bretonia. The total boldness is, however, that an attempt is also Bretonians of itself, to capture animals of Gaia and to move them to Kusari, as example. I won't know where they bring all this poor sweet animals.
*Manuel is now trying to be very sweet and likable:*
The nature is that, what makes a planet my dear Gaians. The nature is that, what our hearts can flourish. Nature is something beautiful and it is awesome that you defend it. So we wish to help you. I know, if I were you, I would not believe myself too. We say that we want bring the darkness over Bretonia and on the other site you are surprised about my views about the nature. We see really no reason in it, to hurt you or the nature self. It is a phenomenon that a Fleet like ours, want help you I understand that. What could we try to do that you trust us more?
*Manuel stands on and he looks a bit weird, at the same seems that he is angry too. So he says:*
So, if nobody want bring me an Tea, I'll search me my fruit tea alone. *Manuel laughs quiet and a bit dirty*
"I'll make a tea for you, dear Manuel", Sequoia springed down from the sofa and headed to bar while adding, "So, the reason behind your visit is suggesting us your help because you share our ideas and ideals? It's, well", Sequoia pauses while turning on the kettle and searching for the best words to continue, "It's pretty unusual, indeed. But it sounds interesting. I suppose we can try working together and look what it will be like."
The kettle made a low beep when the water boiled and Sequoia carefully filled the teapot with the bowling water. She could even boil too when she ran into those Corsairs the first time but for now they seemed to be different enough from the others, enough for giving the whole situation a chance. She wondered what does Druce think of it while heading to Manuel with the tea tray.
"I hope you'll like it", Sequoia winked to Manuel while placing the cups - one for each of the Gaians or Corsairs present; "Say something", she whispered to Druce while passing by, "I'm not a strategist like you, do something."
Hikari keeps looking around the room while blushing from what Manuel had said, taking glimpses of peoples faces but not making direct eye contact. She sits quietly, listening to Sequoia and Manuel speak about Shaulanca and Nature's Last Hope working together.
Hikari puts her hands out and takes a cup of tea that Sequoia had made, giving her a warm yet cute smile.Domo Arigato, Sequoia-san.She pulls the cup towards her and holds it gently and carefully... trying not to burn herself or drop the cup and looks at the contents.
Uhm... What kind of tea is this again? She asks quietly then takes a small sip.
Druce stands up and looks at his company with a warm smile. “Greetings to the lot of ya! Th’ name’s Druce Faolan, an’ as Second-In-Command, I welcome ya ‘ere in th’ name of Nature’s Last Hope. Please, sit down an’ make yerselves comfortable!” He turns his attention to Manuel. “I’ve heard of yer fleet and aboot yer good deeds, I believe ya also proudly possess one of our vessels, aye?” he reaches out to shake Manuel’s hand.
“If it’s tea ya wish for, no problem, we’ve got several different blends over at th’ bar. Let’s not make this evenin’ uptight like them aristocratic tea-drinkin’ sassanach always do, in its most bitter sense, but assure e’eryoone’s comfort. Th’ drinks are on th’ house tonight, so feel free ta grab whatever ya wish ta soften yer spirits with, just be careful not ta soften it too much”, he chuckles.
At the sound of a female voice coming out of the speakers at the doors, shortly followed by a loud metal clang and another female shout, Druce turns around and exclaims “Ah, more guests have arrived! May I please ask anyone near th’ door to open it fer them?” he then turns to Torva and Manuel as they spoke. “Th’ pleasure's mine.”, he shakes his hand as well. “I see security is one of yer top priorities”, he smiles, as he notices Torva’s knife. “Rest assured, though, these lasses willae bring anyone any harm, unless provoked.”, he grins as the two ladies enter. “So nice of ya ta join us!” he greets them as Hikari passes by smiling and seems to hide something in her hands and Sequoia kisses him on his cheek. “We still have our leader ta arrive, therefore I apologize should he fail ta arrive on time, as he carries a bast of a burden. So until then, grab whatever ya wish an’ we can start.” He then leans back into his chair, takes a sip of his mead, closes his eyes and listens carefully to the voices of his guests and companions alike.
After a while, he opens his eyes and looks around the people in the room: “Manuel, first of all, I appreciate you comin’ round and offerin’ an alliance and cooperation, as well as sharin’ our views on th’ corrupt sassanach and a will ta impede, if not completely obliterate their ignorant exploitation.” He leans towards Manuel a bit. ”I do not know how far you are familiar with th’ ideological background of Nature’s Last Hope an’ Gaians as a whole. Currently, if I may say so openly, th’ ties between us and th’ southern Hispania are under re-consideration, mainly due to th’ exploitation of th’ so-called alliance. In yer case, however, we definitely cannae turn down someone who understands our interests, notwithdstandin’ its origin or affiliation.” He leans back into his former position with a smile.“
“I thank Sequoia fer askin’ a few questions which were on my mind too,“ he smiles at her, “as well as yer answers to them, Manuel. However, a few of them remain unanswered. Such as, what do th’ Shaulanca’s Fleet require from us in return?”
His sight skims through the room, noticing Hikari being a bit uptight, and Manuel’s men being no less tense. He tries to break the ice in a cheerful tone: “Manuel, lad, yer boys can relax as well, dinnae worry, yer perfectly safe. You too, Hikari… Ah, tea! Thanks, Sequoia!“ he smiles as she passes around and gives him a hot cup of tea. He whispers to her “Have I ever let ya down?” and grins.
Dear Druce, I am very happy that you, seems so, trust me. If an person in space is trustfull, then is it me. *Manuel trying to be very likable*
I am very pleased that you believe me or my fleet. We feel very honored and especially also sometimes understood. The corrupt Bretonia times should finally get the power back, which they hand out trying! So, you ask what we ask in return? Let us rather to the question, in what we do very much and what we would be pleased. The Shaulanca fleet would welcome close cooperation with you. The cooperation would focus specifically on Dublin when you need us, and in other systems of course too! I do not know if you If you had something about it when we come for you also from time to time for reinforcement, but yes you can decide. The Shaulanca fleet would first identify himself as a fleet, which is fighting for, among other things Gaia. This allows us to express precisely that we are fighting on the site, which are clear in the heads! We would be really grateful to you if you are paying tribute would actively fight alongside you. We were very happy if we could speak about your weapons...eh...ehm..
*Manuel pulls out a piece of paper where he wrote the names of the weapons on it. He is ashamed easy for having the name of the weapons forgot of his hopefully new allies.*
Ah, hehe excuse me... the exactly name of these guns was "Gaia's Angel" Photon Cannon Type C.''
*Manuel smiles very friendly and begin to explain why the Gaians Angel* You see, when we fight with these weapons, we would be most exactly symbolize for whom and for what we are fighting among others. Could we soon be talking again about whether we can use these weapons? So what do you mean?
"You know, Manuel, for us the fact that others share our ideals are with no doubt happy tidings. For us, a relatively small group with quite a big and serious goal, that feels unachievable from time to time, that kind of help will be more then appropriate." Sequoia tasted the tea and continued, "Speaking of the weapons - I suppose that letting you speak with our weapons won't be a mistake."
Sequoia, settled on a sofa with her teacup skimmed Manuel with a poorly concealed curiosity. Speaking of her encounters with the Cretans she hardly found them pleasant - either brute and rude or haughty those people were with their national tradition of plundering and unreasonable cruelty she never understood. She always understood that it's only her experience, but in general it had never been altered by the exceptional people like Admiral D'Souza.
"Actually, I noticed a couple of areas where the help will be appreciated quite a lot of time ago. Druce won't let me lie if I'll mention that after BowEx altered their supply routes, our patrols in Manchester intercepted approximately no significant convoys. And it means that the Crown lacks obligatory reminders of the fact they can't just ignore us."
