As you understand, in the time of war we all pin our hopes on each other to guarantee the stability of the trade connections between the Kingdom and our valuable partners in Republic of Liberty and Federal Republic of Rheinland. Currently [Convoy] Shires along with the vessels that belong to the main Border Worlds Exports department deliver over 90% of the military goods requested by Bretonia Armed Forces to the frontline in Leeds.
Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing as the largest Bretonian corporation is the main producer of goods imported by Border Worlds Exports according to our contracts, but while production of the factories located on Leeds is delivered to the storehouses directly and the prices are stable, the market of Gold Ore in Dublin is destabilized by the Independent Miners Guild as well as the criminal organizations operating there and the deliveries of Ore often don't reach the destination.
[Convoy] company is the Border Worlds Exports subsidiary, providing services when it comes to weighty matters of state, and considering that we would like to suggest you a contract that will allow us to guarantee safety of Ore deliveries and stability of mining operations. It's similar to what we have signed withe several BMM contractors recently.
The contract includes:
1. Joint maintaining of mining operations in the BMM Gold Field.
2. Security of mining operation on request.
3. Immediate payment of:
3.1. 16'000'000 per Shire load for secured mining operations.
3.2. 17'000'000 per Shire load for the mining operations, [Convoy] don't provide security vessels for.
4. Delivery of the Ore to Dertoit Munitions in New York system.
5. Providing reports to BMM concerning the amounts of delivered goods and changes in amounts of Ore requested by Detroit Munitions administration.

Ello lads and lasses of Convoy. Some may know me most of ye' i presume not. Well i'll introduce m'self my name's Jack Porter CEO of this great company. You offered us a contract and my accountants, yes those bookworm guys, had a look at it. Your initial offer, which we have calculated to be approximately 3.1 k per gold ore, is way to low for BMM-'s standards so our accountants wrote a new proposal. OI hope we can come to a agreement such as we have been spoken off during our conversations. Iff you agree oi' invite you lads and lasses to drink a good glass of a really old whiskey i aquirred.
Quote:1 Joint Operations 1.1- BMM- will provide mining ships in the form of Hegemon heavy miners, Mafic or Dacite support miners to mine the fields for ore. 1.2- [Convoy] will provide transport ships in various classes to transport the ore to the offload points in Liberty (gold ore) or Rheinland (niobium/Beryllium) 1.3- If available, [Convoy] will also provide escorts which will aid the mining operation.
2 Security 2.1- Security operations will be maintained by the BMM- security forces. All [Convoy] Transports will wait by the sanctuary of graves station or the perimeter of Battleship Essex. 2.2- Available [Convoy] security pilots will follow there standard orders to secure the mining area and outer perimeter while BMM escorts will secure the direct perimeter around the miningsite, however due the fact BMM- escorts are often used for mining aswell [Convoy] pilots are adviced to keep a vigilante eye on the operation, iff necessary the BMM- minining commmander may request close by support from [Convoy] pilots. 2.3- [Convoy] escort ships are authorized to use every possible force to wipe out any hostiles in the Graves Station perimeter, even if its just a pirate lightfigter* 2.4- If an enemy bomber is within fighting distance of a BMM- Hegemon miner, consult the miner. The situation should be held diplomatically, as the Hegemon will be in grave danger if theengaged. 2.5- BMM- security will help escort [Convoy] Transports out of Dublin
3 Payment 3.1- The payment of ores from [Convoy] to BMM- will be:
Gold ore: 5 k per crate of ore. All gold ore transactions will take place near Graves Station**
Niobium: 4.5k per crate of ore.
Beryllium: 4.5k per crate of ore. 3.2- Depending on the sell destination [Convoy] supplies, BMM- operation leaders may decide to change its price of ore. This will make some flexibly on BMM-'s side especially if new buyers of ore appear with different prices. 3.3- During a large operation, the miner delivering ore will be paid by the captain of any [Convoy] transport. In the case where BMM- has sufficient Ore to immediately fill up a Transport, the Captain will pay the price for his/her whole cargo capacity the moment ore transfer is initiated. 3.4- If the mining operation leader feels that [Convoy] escort cooperation was very helpful, a up to 10% discount from the prices listed in qurey 3.1 will ensure
4 Transport. 4.1- [Convoy] will deliver BMM- ore to refineries in Rheinland or Liberty to be processed.
5 Reports. 5.1 - A report for each quarter fiscal year indicating what type of ore and the amount shipped to whichever refinery would be highly appreciated by the BMM- Board of directors.
6 Fraud 6.1- All fraud is to be communicated to the leaders of Both [Convoy] and BMM-. Judgment will be carried out based on both Hard Evidence, and witnesses. Lack of evidence may lead to no conclusion, and no punishment. Any reported incident needs to be time stamped.* 6.2- BMM- reserves the right to fire a tag on any [Convoy] transport to ensure no Captain lied about its destination.
* - Authorization to eliminate the enemy. [Convoy] is not obligated by this contract to follow this, but has the option to. // If you decide to engage any Corsair/Outcast/Molly/non-junker Pirate transports, indicate your engagement is on behalf of BMM. Of course, you don't need to state this is a BMM- member is on the scene.
** - If a mining operation is underway, and the BMM- mining leader communicates that it's prudent for a [Convoy] transport to collect material at the site, it may do so.
Oi' hope with this new contract we can come to a deal eh. Oi' would say on a bright future.
At first, let me tell you, that [Convoy] can acknowledge the presented contract without any changings.
I may just add some footnotes, to your and our knowledge.
1) This sector of operations will only be our second one, the primary one will still be the evacuation of refugees out of planet Leeds. How often a joint operation may take part will be shown by future, but the possibility is much appreciated and will surely be used.
2) referring to 1.2: Mostly, the transport ships in usage will be of Shire class, in the regular case equipped with universal armor upgrades MK VIII or bigger, so that even the transports will be able to provide cover, if BMM mining ships have to retreat because of hostile activities in the system.
3) referring to 3.3: Of course, every miner will be paid immediately. Beginning with the first unit of ore, no matter if there is a full mining ship hold or not, the [Convoy] pilot receiving the ore will pay for its whole shipload, meaning the BMM miner then has to fully fill him up. I would propose this sort of acting because of easier calculating and banking.
4) referring to 5.1: Of course. but this should apply only for larger joined operations, involving 3 or more Shire class transports. As the costs-benefits-calculation would be much more expensive when giving reports about very single shire hauling ore. I hope you understand this.
In Addition, as a personal note from my side: I'm really glad about your offer to have a whiskey together, as I love this irish stuff, Mr. Porter. So I'm glad I may accept your offer, and am really looking forward to this special meeting.
