With the new embargo in place Liberty boarders in Colorado have been inundated with patrols to warn off traders from going into Kusari. This has left many Liberty civilians very upset. Some even have turned to rioting. Colorado commerce director Aaron Brown has to say;
"Today we have to face a new enemy, not one with guns pointed at us or at our friends. Today we have to consider how our own government handles their situations in foreign affairs and enemy. A enemy of public interest! It is obvious to his government body that the Republic has not taken necessary previsions in protecting the interests of it's people. This Republic has throttle it's people into a war and expands the war with attacking civilian targets. No, the people didn't vote for this. Colorado System didn't vote for this. And I am sure many in the union didn't vote for this.
But the Republic either knowingly agreed or blindly agreed to house actions against Kusari nations for helping the Rheinland nation. To their "war," effort. The people haven't called for this. We didn't sign onto this contract. We are not being heard!
Nor have we decided it was the best interest in mind to providing weapons to aid in conflicts against Kusari.
We didn't vote for this, and this is what has happened. Our boarders have been cut down. Our fuel supplies have been cut off! We cannot survive like this, not with the economy as it was before this embargo has been in placed.
I am calling all of Congress out, and demanding a solution for this.
Remember the People gives power to the Republic! Let the people be heard! "
Today schools around Manhattan have been protesting the leaked information about why the Embargo has been created. Many people are questioning the Liberty Government's ability to handle real time situations. And Liberty is expecting massive shortages and price hikes for everything down to clothes, food and even the costs of paying for mass transit.
