Imagine a great pasture, green as an emerald...a lake, with water as pure as love itself. The air, vibrant with a million scents and vapors, and the sunrise...the perfect sunrise, one that brings a tear to your eye...as the sunlight lazily fills the landscape, like a sea of molten gold,it touches the water,and...
"Martinez! You're daydreaming again, get a move on,I want those flight reports by yesterday,is that UNDERSTOOD!?!" - the Corsair captain barked. "Uh,y-yes,of-of course, sir. I'll get right on it." - she replied sheepishly.Suddenly, she found herself sitting in her Decurion's cockpit, looking around the hangar. The only source of light brighter than dusk-level was pointed directly at her vessel,as all her other wingmen and wingwomen had been long gone to their chambers. As the captain's hasty footsteps lost in reverb and volume, she slowly regained her senses. After climbing out of her cockpit, and tripping on that cursed Salamanca barrel, she found herself standing on the deck of the enormous hangar belonging to the magnificent Corsair Legate named "The Tribunal".The landing strip lights danced lazily, now that the traffic was low.She takes a look back to her cockpit and simply states: "Martinez, code three-oh-oh-five-seven-lambda." With a short snap and a click, the cockpit shut and the light went out.She made her way to her quarters slowly, pondering about her fantasy each step of the way, ignoring the confused looks of rookies fumbling with whatever they were doing just to give her a quick salute and a bit creepy grin. She stood dazed in front of her quarters' door,as if unsure what to do or say. Then a quick, suppressed thought reaches her."Martinez,Isabella. Checking in." The door opened with a telltale pressure release. She walked in,ignoring her roommate Elena's frantic chatter about the paperwork, and being late again,and....
After taking off her jumpsuit and having a nice hot shower, she returned to the main room of the quarters.Elena was just about done doing the paperwork, and she turned to Isabella with a naughty grin."What have you done this time, gringa? The captain's all jittery again. We thought the rookie was going to have a coronary, how he screamed his frustrations on him!" She let out a hearty laugh. -"I did a barrel roll again, pressed my glass against his and blew him a kiss. The look on his face...priceless." There was a moment of silence, and the girls stared intently at each other. Finally,Isabella cracked. She started laughing, loudly and sincerely, and of course,Elena joined. They laughed until they shed tears. Finally, they both calmed down, and Elena jumped on her bunk. She shot her look at the ceiling unintently, and then back to Isabella."You got a lot of paperwork, young lady,I suggest you get to it." With a naughty grin on her face,Isabella laid back on her bunk, and replied calmly: "Nah,he'll forget about it,the old gringo.Besides, chica,I'm wearing my extra tight jumpsuit tomorrow." She let out a small chuckle and winked at Elena."Let's go to sleep, kid,we got a long day tomorrow...back to Eta." -"****,I was afraid of that...well,let's hope it's all just a dud.I mean, the Sardaukar can't be there, can it?"But Isabella could not hear her.She was already drifting away to sleep... ...the ripples on the lake's surface seem to form a perfect mandala pattern.Almost hypnotic to look at.As she looks up into the newborn sun,she feels a hand on her shoulder. As the wind played with the ribbons in her hair, and as she heard the sound of the wind chimes on the apple tree, she turns around...and sees his face."A..."
...eep...beep...beep...beep...beep...beep*smash*
As the alarm-bot crawled back into the hole in the hull panel, obviously feeling hurt,Isabella stood up.She shuffled her way to the bathroom, and grabbed the toothbrush, swearing under breath.Elena, obviously in a good mood, looked sideways at her and speaks a few unintelligible words, muffled by the toothpaste foam.Isabella, unimpressed, just nods at her and keeps brushing. After suiting up,the girls move through the vast hallways of the Tribunal, nodding discretely at every matching-rank officer they encountered.Halfway to the hangar, they hear a familiar voice. "Hey,gringas, where you two think you're going without me?"Then,a tall, spindly man erupts from a side door, wearing a heavily stained jumpsuit and a helmet that's been painted black and had a plethora of white carvings on its surface.-"Jorge,we're not in the mood for your failed attempts at courting right now.",Elena snapped at him.He returns the favour with a sour grin.-"Meh,don't forget whatcha two owe me when THIS - he points to a three-fourth filled white star on the back of the helmet - is filled out.Two more kills,Martinez, just two."He detaches from the duo into a side corridor chuckling madly.-"Gah,what a creep,I hope he runs into a rock today. It might have more common sense than him." The girls shared a chuckle, and continued towards launch bay two, home of the Lambda wing.
The hangar was sprawling with activity. As Isabella approached her Decurion, aptly named "Dying Breath",she climbed into the already open cockpit like an expert. As she put her helmet on,a standard-issue Corsair Decurion flight helmet with only one visible change,a small picture of a mouth painted on the bottom rim of her visor,a mouth with one missing tooth."Miguel,we good to go?"-"Yeah,Martinez.Go kick some ass today, huh?Bring me a sniffer so I can kick him to death."She put on a disturbed look on her face, deactivating the comm channel which was currently ringing with Miguel's manic laughter. She whispered into the reciever: "Martinez,three-oh-oh-five-seven-lambda,lock and ignition." With a click and a wad of pressure, the lid closed and locked itself, while also coating itself with a nano-layer of UV blocker.
As she flew in formation with her wing leader, she swapped to formation auto-pilot and drifted off a bit...
...h,my darling,so nice to see you again! He then began to caress her hair, and held her tight in his arms.He came closer and closer, their lips trembling in anticipation, their breaths mingling in the morning fog.As they came closer, their lips touched...
A loud sound from the interface snapped her out of it.The wing was under attack by an Outcast squadron! As she leaned sideways, peered outside, and caught a glimpse of a wicked-painted Sabre spraying Wyrm particles at Elena's Decurion. She would not tolerate this. With a brief tap on the console, she killed her engines and engaged the thruster to maximum. As the force punched her into the seat, she was satisfied with the result. Her Decurion was now flying directly over and in-line with the Sabre. With an experienced flick of the wrist, she turned her little beast towards the outcast's cabin, and pressed the button. There was a brief flash from the barrels of her Salamancas, and she saw shattered glass, blood and fire spread across the vacuum, vanishing quickly. The Sabre floated directionally for a short while, and vanished in a glorious blaze colured a somewhat greenish colour. As she turned quickly to join the main battle, she was surprised to catch a glimpse of something round and long in the corner of her cockpit view,something...large.
"Captain, take a look! At my six, quick,Sir!" There was a brief moment of silence, then a shock,a flash and yet another flaming Sabre took the fall. Not long after, she heard her captain's voice on the comms."This is Captain Gitano.Disengage all Outcast forces at once, and report back to the Tribunal. This is a direct order!"
She would obey an order,of course. As her squadron activated their cruise missiles and started leaving plasma angels in the cold vacuum, she felt that familiar shock and the sound...cruise disrupted. They had her.Quickly, she barked over the comms:"Go without me,the dogs will stick on me.I can take them, only two of them.See you at the Tribunal,Captain."That being said, she deactivated the comm system with a quick tap on the console. These gringos would see hell before they would do her in,she swore so to herself.
As she did a sharp 180 turn, the Sabres followed. After dropping a few mines, she strafed, tapped engine kill, and turned as swiftly as possible, firing a Mosquito missile in half-turn.The missile locked on to her mine,a preset feature, and sped towards it.She then leaned her Decurion straight down, and pedaled the thrust. The ship rocketed downwards, just outside the reach of the massive explosion, which unfortunately only took down the Outcasts' shields. After realizing this, she spun around and tapped the thrusters once more, rocketing herself exactly between the Sabres. The pilots, expecting a clean pass, aimed directly through the emptiness between themselves. As she was supposed to pass through, they fired their payloads. But she didn't pass through. She knew that was an old trick, but it worked. She watched in amazement,in dead stop,as the Outcasts exchanged a deadly stream of particles and tachyons. She flew off,and suddenly,on her helmet, the missing tooth appeared in the mouth. As did three more teeth on the side. She'll show that Jorge who's getting what, and let a naughty grin spread over her mouth.
She tapped the comms back on,and what she heard made her blood freeze in her veins.Across the comms, she could hear an inhuman scream,so eerie,it made her skin AND hair crawl at the same time.As she approached the Tribunal, she could see why.The Tribunal, half its decks missing, bursted or aflame, was exchanging heavy fire with an Outcast dreadnaught. On its side, she could see the letters: "SARDAUKAR".So,it was true...they did know. She snapped out of the thinking when she saw a cloud of flak heading dead on towards her Decurion. She also knew, with her shields down, the flak would tear her apart. But it was too late to react.Seconds seemed like hours as the flak approached,an ominous mass of black volatile pellets, each alone carrying the destructive power of a single fragmentation A.V round. Then happened the unexpected,as another Decurion burst into view, directly into the path of the flak. She knew that ship. The teeth painted on its beak...it was Elena. She screamed into the comms: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"...
It was too late. The flak ripped the Decurion to shreds, and as the debris flew around, time seemed to slow down. She could clearly see her best friend's torn apart corpse floating among the debris, alongside her port wing, carried by the force of the impact and the blast. The remaining flak hit her Decurion hard. The shock and recoil tossed her in the cabin so hard, she hit her head on the glass and passed out...
...as they shared the warm, passionate kiss, she could feel the wind growing...he was torn from her embrace, his face becoming a lifeless skull, and he fell apart...she could see the ribbons from her hair falling to the ground, golden but now blood-stained...she threw a desperate look to the lake, but she found naught but a pool of blood. In it she could see people dead...people she once knew, people she loved...She could see...him...In the blood, there was a reflection. She looked up,and saw the burning wreck of the Tribunal falling straight towards her.As something broke inside her,she felt void and dead. She spread her arms, awaiting for the rolling fiery death.
Sucks to be a weight on the wrong side of the brilliance-insanity scale.
"Farewell,my love...farewell,Aaron..."The unforgiving burning wreck sped towards her, with a sound matching a thousand mouths crying out in pain. All of the sudden, she felt something stir up inside her,and looked down. She saw the ribbon on the ground,so pretty.Golden, intertwined with a silver line and a tiny pink pearl on each side.Time seemed to stop. She looked back up,and there the Tribunal was, frozen in time, burning debris hanging quietly and ominously against the blue sky.It could not be like this, she decided. She would right the wrongs, she thought. As she closed her eyes, and let her arms drop beside her,she felt a breeze against her skin once more...the chiming of the wind chimes, the rustling of the leaves in the apple canopy.
Isabella woke up with a deep gasp.Everything was dark, and her head ached...oh how it ached. It was a sensation as if every bit of her skull was being hammered from inside. She let out a shrill scream, trying to remember what to do.Finally she came to her senses."E-engage." There was a slight rumbling as the ship came to life once more. Then, the whole console and interface began to glow red from various sources. She was in deep trouble, and she knew it."Sta...argh. Status." The interface popped up a miniature 3-d scan of her Decurion. Oh,she was in trouble. Her starboard wing was badly banged up,and her port wing...was not even there anymore. Her ship was leaking from basically everywhere, plus there were bloody smears on the inside and outside of the cockpit glass. She took a deep breath, and flinched from the pain. She then spoke quietly:"Remove UV protection.Set transparency to oh point seven." The glass shifted its colours drastically, and now she saw where she was.It was a system she did not recall seeing, but what she DID see is a gigantic minefield directly above her."Oh,great,I'm in Eta still...Well,at least I'm still alive." She saw Elena floating in space below the frozen wreck. She also noticed there were people being thrown out from the falling Tribunal...Then...she saw Aaron, distant and fading, like the twilight sun that was setting...He reached for her hand...but she froze...she could not accept it.
"NO!!!"-she screamed."Get...out...of my head...please..." She cried quietly...softly.She was broken.Noone to return to.All she ever knew and loved was gone. But she would not be a victim. She picked herself up,bravely, and wiped her tear. She looked up,and froze.Throught the cockpit glass,in the cloud, she could notice a familiar shape. It was a Sabre flying towards her.She thought quickly, and whispered:"Disengage, kill power.Now." The buzzing of the instruments died instantly, and the glass went black. She cursed at herself under breath:"How could she be so foolish? She should know better, think a bit." An idea hit her then. She whispered: "Power weapons,100%.Clear glass." She grabbed the controller, aiming directly forward and feigned death, turning to one side and closing her eyes. She squinted so she could barely see in front of the ship. The outcast was clearly a rookie, because in any other case, she would have been dead already. And there he was...closer...closer...just a little more...
There was a shock and a flash. As the Rapier's round made a nice ripply void in the shield, the following four Salamanca neutron loads smashed directly into the Outcast's cockpit glass, shattering it,killing him instantly. She grinned and realized, the kill actually felt good. She had killed many before this, but never did she feel so good about it.She quickly snapped out of it."Re-engage,full power.Energy levels and engine levels, report." The computer replied in an artificial voice: "Energy levels at twenty-five percent.Seven plu-cells have overheated.Engines at seventy-two percent, lightly damaged." She let loose a heavy sigh of relief. She would have to start anew...all alone.
Several hours later, she was in the Alexandria Base infirmary,in Omicron-91 system. After her broken ribs and concussion had been treated properly, she stood and left for the bar.Oddly enough, there was no sign of the Tribunal's wreck, nor of any of her crewmates in Omicron Eta.At least she still had a home...
Sitting in the bar, slowly downing a cherry cola, she glared emotionlessly into the holo-screen.There were CNTv reports of the disaster with the Tribunal, and she found out the wreck was currently being decommissioned and recycled in Tripoli Shipyard,in Gamma.Apparently, the rescue party reached the battle site before she awoke...what had been going on...? She had also found twenty IMG pilots in her hull. How those got there, was a total mystery to her. After deciding not to think about it more, she stood up,paid the drink and walked over to the hangar.
As she thought, the damage on her Decurion was so bad,she was given another one just like it,with all the weapons refitted and replaced. She sighed heavily and climbed into the cabin, which still had that new ship smell. She missed the Breath...but she would not despair. She took an industrial laser cutter, and engraved this beneath the glass lid: "Dying Whisper".She also added: "If you can hear the Whisper...you're dying."Satisfied with the work, she handed the cutter to the confused techie, and climbed up into the cabin. She would love this ship, she swore to herself. In honor of the Breath.
As she reached Tripoli, she first went to the shipwright, and found out all the information on Tribunal by pulling her rank on the poor man, then used more...feminine ways of persuasion. She was sad to hear, there were no survivors found. She was silent about her plight, because she knew,if someone were to find out she was there, she'd have to go through paperwork hell, interrogations, and all sorts of legal mess, and she just wasn't in the mood for that right now.She thanked the shipwright with a kiss on his cheek, sending the poor man into a dreamy coma-like state staring at the wreck being taken apart by a squad of CSV-flying technicians, adept at the job.Later that day,she stopped by Crete,to have some custom work done on her new Decurion,at a body shop she knew did a good job,and liked it.She also asked around if anyone had seen Aaron in a while,as she last heard of him residing somewhere on Crete.
Sucks to be a weight on the wrong side of the brilliance-insanity scale.
She was out there, listening to the wind caressing the apple leaves. The air was particularly soft against her skin tonight. She was sitting on the pond's shore, feet submerged, and head cocked back. She savoured every apple petal that brushed against her shoulder, every blade of grass tickling her heels. She looked up,glaring at the twin moons, and blew one of them a kiss, pondering in silence. The wind chimes sang their song, and tonight, the song was of fear and happiness.
They had found out.And they wanted answers.Isabella had heard the warning given to her by the tender of a backalley bar on Crete, who had overheard two officers talking. She was in trouble, and she knew it...Her ship would be guarded, her neural transmitter tapped. She crept slowly, alleyway by alleyway, until she reached her landing pad. It was guarded alright...two nasty-looking Corsair thugs were standing by the sides of the ship, each holding a projection of her picture, grinning stupidly at each other. She thought quickly, and prayed to herself that they WERE as stupid as they looked. She tossed a stone she found nearby as far away from her ship as she could. The stone produced a loud bang upon hitting another ship's metallic wing plating. The guards jumped to attention, and one of them ran swiftly in the general direction of the sound."Bingo."-she thought.Slowly, she unholstered her gun, aimed at the remaining guard, and took him out swiftly with silent shot to the back of the head.
Again, she felt it.Like a wave of pure ecstasy rising from her heels, higher and higher, and she felt appauled.Yet,she wanted more...She heard footsteps from the other side, and quickly leapt to sit on the Decurion's air intake edge. The footsteps suddenly became faster,as the guard obviously noticed his companion, now lying face-down in a pool of blood. As the Corsair ran into view, she quickly reacted, squeezing the trigger once more.Another body fell.Another wave passed her body...She didn't bother looking for permission to liftoff, because she knew there wouldn't be one.Desperate, she found Aaron's info on her neural net,and contacted him.
Turns out,Aaron was at that moment staying at Crete, and was more than willing to help her escape. She knew this was a crime...yet she didn't care. They would not remind her again,of what she saw.She would not let them.As she flew after the Titan she knew so well,a million thoughts ran across her mind. Was she doing the right thing? What would the punishment be? What if she returned? What...will happen to Aaron if they knew he was helping her?She shrugged off the disturbing thoughts, engaged formation autopilot, and stared a while at the hypnotizing flickering of the red-blue engines... The wind swung the chimes, making them sing once more. This time, they sung a song of return, and love.As she looked up,into the moons, she saw his face...Then,once more, that familiar hand on her shoulder. She turned,half-expecting a monstrosity she witnessed once before, but there was none...She saw him,as she remembered him, back on Honshu, when they met...She remembered Hikari,Mason...she felt warm, and loving. She would see them all again, she swore to herself. But now,she would be satisfied to rise and hold him,one more time...
His voice woke her up. "Bella? We're here, wake up."
Sucks to be a weight on the wrong side of the brilliance-insanity scale.
"Bella...we've arrived at Freeport 11. Time to wake up and get settled.."
Aaron flipped a switch then set frequencies to contact the Freeport. "Hola Freeport 11. This is Aaron Benitez requesting to dock for Dying.Whisper and myself." After a while, the Freeport replied..
"Granted. Please report to docks 1 and 2"
"Gracias Freeport 11."
Aaron flipped a switch and set frequencies back to Isabella's ship. "Bella...you can dock." She did so.. not saying a word to him and Aaron watched her as she dock. As the docking bay doors closed, he noticed on his scanners that there was a small group of four Bounty Hunters heading for Freeport 11. Aaron never liked Bounty Hunters... nor did he like fighting. He always tried to avoid fighting whenever possible.. always finding a way to avoid it with either aiding people he didn't wish to fight or attempting to bribe the scavenges that always seemed to find him at the worst possible time.
"Look boys! We found some money!" said the leader of the pack followed by laughter of which annoyed Aaron.
"Oh? Where?" said Aaron looking around himself. "All I see is a station and a lot of Hunters that may be biting off more than they can chew."
"Well look at how confident this one is leader!" said one of pack leader's wingmen.
At this point, Aaron could get a good view on how many there are.. Five. The fifth one must've been hidden but it didn't matter. They would all going down with out much of a fight anyway.
"Si senor. I know when to be confident and when not to be. Do you really think it would be such a good idea to fight me? Your ships do look quite fragile compared to La Bestia." (The Beast)
One of the other wingmen laughed. "Oi dumb 'ead, clearle ya're blind since ya can no be seeing how manne thar be of us and how manne thar be of ya!"
"I suppose you are right senor... You should have brought more men..."
As Aaron had said that, he flipped all weapons to full power, killed his engines, thrust right over the hunter that had spoken and unleashed a volley of fire, ripping the hunters shields to pieces. "Oh shi!!" shouted the hunter in panic when Aaron fired his Mini-Razor which went straight through the ship - leaving it in half - as he drifted over the Hunter wing.
"After him!" shouted the leader of Hunters angrily to his which started scrambling to try intercept Aaron... which didn't work out too well. Aaron targeted the one half of the wreck he made and fired a few shots from his Salamanca's Cannons which caused it to explode, overloading the two Hunter ship's shields that were near it and lighting the other half of the wreck on fire. Not long after, both of the Hunter ships to be blown to oblivion in a huge white flash, leaving shrapnel flying in all directions.
During the flash, Aaron flicked his engines power switch on then off which powered his engines, causing his ship to drift slow enough to pull back on his joystick and thrust, sending his ship right above the other two hunters who were still stunned from the explosion. The bright white light had dissipated and both the remaining hunters were frantically looking for him. At this point, Aaron had done a 360 degree flip, powered his engines and had them both in sight but was idle.
"Where is he?! Do you see him?!"
"No sir!"
"How can he just disappear?!"
"I didn't..."
"Wha'..." said the hunter as his shields dispersed from the Mini-Razor shot followed by a few shots from Aaron's Salamancas which ripped the hunter's ship into shreds with pieces flying off in every direction. The last Hunter... The Leader of the pack noticed where Aaron was firing from and thrust straight for him in rage at how he had devastated the leader's wing with such ease, and began firing at Aaron's ship fiercely.
Aaron noticing this simply strafed down calmly and sighed, unfazed from the projectiles that were heading at him and fired a few shots of his own as he turned his ship into direct view of the hunter's ship.
"What the!..." shouted the Hunter but before the he could react, Aaron fired a Mini-Razor at the Hunter's ship as it was passing over him that tore it in two, straight through the center.
"I did warn you, perros..." said Aaron in a calm tone as he turned his ship and headed back to the Freeport. The Hunter's ship exploded after a while and it's remains began drifting in the cold space around the Freeport. Aaron docked with Freeport 11 and immediately started searching for Isabella. He went to her ship, thinking it would be the best place to start looking and found her inside it still, asleep.
"Bella.." he said in a gentle tone then knocked on the glass. "Its me, Aaron. I am sorry I took a while to get to you." ...there was no response. "Bella, wake up please?" He then banged quite hard on the glass which woke her up from her sleep.
"A.. Aaron?"
"Si Bella, its me. Please open you ship's lid?"
"Si. I'm sorry. I must've passed out for some reason"
"Its okay. Theres no need to be sorry."
Her ship's lid opened up slowly and without hesitation, Aaron began to help her out of the cockpit. She felt quite weak oddly and fell into Aaron's arms. "Bella!" Aaron held her up for a second before picking her up carefully and looking down at her. "Its okay Bella.. I have you." He began looking for a room to check into and made arrangements for it. He walked to their quarters, opened the door and proceeded to the bed at which he laid Isabella down on it gently and covered her with the blanket. He turned the light off as he walked out of the room and headed for the sofa in the living room. He sat down on the sofa, looked down while holding his hands and began thinking of her again...
He found it quite sad that she hardly spoke to him at times.. as he longed for her lovely voice for all the years they were apart. He was in training when they were separate since they were stationed at different bases. He never once stopped thinking about her... about her soft, smooth skin.. her gorgeous eyes that he'd sometimes get lost in with just a glimpse of them.. and her hair... as soft as the silks of Kusari itself. She was perfect... she is still perfect. Nothing would change that about her. She still looked as beautiful as the day they met... no.. Thats a lie, even more beautiful than that, more stunning than ever. He would always always look at her but try not to make it look too obvious that he was doing it. Whenever she caught him looking at her, he'd get nervous and look away quickly, pretending to be doing something else. He never once told her about how he feels for her... how she makes him feel. He'd do anything for her.. die for her in a heartbeat without even having to even think about it. He never said anything to her since he never quite knew how she'd react to it. He loves her, always has... more than anyone could ever dream of..
He shakes his head and snaps out of it. "Eh amigo... in your dreams. She..." He looked at the room where Isabella was. "...is way out of your league."
"Si..."
He took a deep breath, sighed and began taking off his flight jacket. He lay down on the sofa and closed his eyes for a brief second before opening them again. "Oh right... the lights." He got up, shaking his head from side to side and proceeded to the switch and flipped it down. "Ahh.. Maybe now I can sleep." His eyes began to glow with a violet-blue color which no one has ever seen Aaron do, he wouldn't allow them. He walked over to the sofa again and took his rapier off of his belt, sat down and put it on the floor by his feet after which he lay down again and closed his eyes, getting rest for the next day...
Honshu.. the first place he had met Bella.. He was there with his uncle and friends, Mason Ryker and Shizen no Hikari. His uncle was there on business... not that Aaron knew why a Corsair would have business in Kusari but it didn't matter. They were on the main Island of Honshu, the biggest island. Aaron had decided that he wanted to go explore so the others had no problem with this since sitting around was quite boring. They found the designs to be most beautiful.. so unique.. tranquil in a way but no where is ever safe. As they were exploring, they stumbled apon thugs picking on a young lady..about their age. Aaron and Mason took a quick glance at eachother before they charged at the thugs. Hikari fled to a safe place since she wasn't much of a fighter back then.. but still knew how to do damage. Before Aaron and Mason arived, the thugs had the girl pinned down but when they got to her, all hell broke loose. Aaron pulled the first thug off of her then Mason gripped him afterwards and threw him to the ground. Mason span around and threw a hefty right haymaker to the next thug that was heading towards them, knocking him out instantly. The way he dropped was funny in a way. He just stood still for a second then fell backwards. Aaron at this point was helping the girl up. He looked behind him, noticing the thug that Mason had thrown to the ground got up again and did a backwards kick into the his stomach, turned around and kicked him in the face, flinging the thug backwards. There were only four thugs in total...but got their butts kicked by two kids. Mason was always a hot head...looking for a fight whenever possible. Aaron on the other hand only fought when he saw the girl in trouble. "Are you alright senora? What is your name?" Aaron asked the girl. "S..si, I'm alright. Thank you for saving me." she replied, still in shock. "I am glad you're alright and there is no need to thank me.. You're Hispanic.. like I am. Where are your friends?" he asked. "I have no friends.." she replied... in a saddened tone. 'You can come with us, Bella." Aaron said with a smile. At this point, Mason and fetched Hikari and Aaron introduced Isabella to them. They went to the park and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon, getting to know each other and what the latest news was. This was the point when something had clicked between them. Aaron's uncle had told them that his business was taking longer than expected, which let Aaron and the others spend more time on Honshu. Then Aaron's thoughts entered from earlier entered his dreams.. how beautiful Bella was to him.. How he'd do anything for her. He watched how Hikari Bella got on... Aaron still couldn't help think why Bella was here by herself'¦if she got lost or abandoned'¦ He felt a strong connection to her and could only think about her and if she is happy. Nothing else mattered'¦ He just wanted to stay by her side and make sure she is safe and happy'¦
There was a loud bang on the door which woke Aaron up with a jolt. "Ay santo cielo! There goes my dream.." he whispers to himself and reaches for his rapier, La Rápida. (The Swift)
He got up from the sofa and put his jacket on. He walked to where Bella was who had woken up and closed the door quietly. "Bella... go into the restroom and stay there.. remain dead silent." he whispered before unsheathing his rapier. "I won't let anything happen to you, I promise." Isabella got up and ran into the restroom as quickly as possible, making no noise.
Aaron smiled and whispered. "Good." He heard people entering the room and his eyes began to glow again. He looked at them around the corner and saw them armed with blasters then hid back around the corner. He clearly saw they were more Bounty Hunters but they were taking things abit far by trying to attack Aaron and Bella on a Neutral Base. "Hmm." Aaron started thinking about how to take them out.. There were only 3 of them this time. He looked at the restroom then around the corner.
He saw one of the hunters heading towards him, span his rapier a few times before gripping it and hitting the hunter square on his nose with his handguard, breaking the hunters nose. "Night night, hombre." Aaron quickly caught the hunter and dragged him quietly into the bedroom then sheathed his rapier and held onto it. He looked around the corner again.
"Luther? Where you at?" whispered the other hunter. "Luis! Shh!" whispered the third hunter who apeared to be female. "Oh, sorry Jane." he said then tripped over something and hit the ground hard. Jane facepalmed then went over to him. "Watch where you walk dumbhead!" she shouted in a soft voice.
Aaron stepped around the corner and quietly snuck up behind them. When Luis turned his back, Aaron hit Jane behind the head quite hard, but did the trick to knock her out and lay her down on the floor quietly. "Lo siento señora, had to be done." Aaron stood up again and moved towards Luis who turned around again. With quick thinking, Aaron smacked him in the stomach and did an upper cut to the jaw and knocked Luis out too. Aaron watched Luis fall backwards and catches his arms, lowering him down. "Sleep tight hombre."
Aaron stood back up and walked back to Isabella. "Its alright. You can come out now Bella." he said. Isabella came out of the restroom and Aaron smiled. "We should try to get somewhere safer.. not even these places are safe." Aaron took her hand gently and quickly left the room with her towards his ship. Aaron helped Isabella into his ship and followed. "Stay in the back. There is a bed there. Sometimes, I can't affored to dock on bases and have to cloak, so I have a bed in the back. You will be ok there. Rest." Aaron said as he powered his ship up. "I'll take you to The Order. You should be safer there." He said. "You'll stay with me right?" "Si Bella. I won't leave your side."
