Unit File: Task Force 7
Abstract: As the war with Rheinland continued to progress into the year 818 and Liberty losses began to mount, it soon became a concern to the Liberty Navy High Command that new pilots were not able to receive full training before they were rushed to the front to fill the troop requirement. The Liberty Navy was already stretched too thin to afford diverting troops back from the front and those that could were quickly diverted to dealing with the increasing pirate problem in the Liberty core systems. Under the authorization of Fleet Admiral Hale, Task Force Seven was formed in order to provide an active training unit for the Liberty Navy Secondary Fleet, as well a a force capable of responding to threats as ordered by the High Command.
Structure and Operations: Task Force 7 was placed under the Command of Captain Heather Cain, who then selected then Commander Allyson Cain and Lt. Commander Jordan Lee assist in managing the unit. This command structure was later expanded to include Lieutenants Anders and Marshal when the Task Force expanded to include fighter and bomber wings. All other member of the Task Force were considered equal colleagues, as the unit 's emphasis was on training.
The Task Force successfully completed several recon operations Alaska and O****** M**** as well as conducting advance raids into Rheinland such as operation BLACKBIRD and providing a backup force for the Primary fleet. Another operation, MINOR THREAT, was scheduled to be carried out but the Task Force was disbanded before final preparations could be made.
Disbandment: Task Force 7 was disbanded shortly after the Liberty Navy operation in Munich. With the loss of Captain Cain, and the lull in the fighting with Rheinland, the primary fleet was finally able to resume normal training and processing of recruits.
Personnel: The following files are dedicated to keeping track of the former members of the Task Force 7 in order to provide a bridge in the record gap between their positions.
After operation BLACKBIRD, Captain Cain began work on making preparations for the task force to carry out MINOR THREAT. Unfortunately, a recon party led by Captain Cain was struck by hostile vessels of unknown origin somewhere between Alaska and Omicron Delta. Contact with her vessel was lost during the fighting and coordinates of her exact position were never received. Despite several search parties dispatched by the task force, no trace was ever found of her. Some speculate that she defected to the order or that her mental state was somehow altered prior to her disappearance, however these rumors remain unfounded.
Name: Jordan Lee
Rank: Lt. Commander, secondary fleet
Ship: LNS-Razor
Status: Active
Lt. Commander Lee was transferred to West Point military Academy where he was assigned to instruct a basic course on gunboat tactics. Although rarely seen taking part in direct action against Rheinland and the Order, he is often seen providing backup to the Liberty Forces assigned to patrol duty and engaging hostile gunboats within Liberty space. He is scheduled to be transferred to selection trials for Captain Xiger's Assault Wing after his teaching assignment.
Name: Carl Anders
Rank: Lieutenant, Secondary Fleet
Ship: LNS-New.Orleans
Status: MIA
Lieutenant Anders was sent to the Task Force with low expectations from his superiors, but in a short time, Anders rose above others in the form of knocking out snubs with the Upholder. Set into the Command position of the Raptors, the Task Force 7's bomber wing. After Captain Cain went MIA, and several of Anders friends left the Task Force, Anders went MIA himself on a one man patrol in New Hampshire. His ship Transponder was seen recently, however, in the Omicrons. It is to suggest he may have joined another group. Additionally, the ship he captained, although listed as renamed and given to another captain, is moreover a lie. In reality, the New Orleans is considered MIA, along with Anders Guardians and Upholders.
Name: Franklin Carr
Rank: Captain, Secondary Fleet
Ship: LNS-Break.Of.Dawn (in Task Force: LNS-Liberation)
Status: Active
Captain Franklin Carr was not especially active within Task Force internal affairs, but he did participate in operations within Rheinland as well as A***** and O****** M****. After Task Force 7 was disbanded, he pulled in some favors and was re-assigned to the cruiser LNS Break Of Dawn, a brand new schooling- and training-ship for cadets at West Point.
Name: Allison Cain
Rank: Commander
Ship: LNS-Las.Vegas, LNS-Milton
Status: Out of active duty
During her down time in the Task Force, Allison took up a second job working for Interspace Commerce. However, shortly after the disappearance of her sister Heather, Allison decided to leave active duty for the Navy, and work for IC full time as the representative of Liberty. Her Guardian still sits on the landing pad of her apartment on Manhatten, the Las Vegas somewhere in space with all sensitive records lost, and modified so that it's untraceable. The Milton still drifts in the Bremen system, a testimate of their last raid into Rheinland.
After the destruction of the "Mata" in Pennsylvania, Cmdr. Sanford returned to Manhattan for debrief. As he was enroute to Norfolk to supervise the construction of a new ship, Cmdr. Sanford had a heart attack and died before arriving at Norfolk.

Name: Zack Archer
Rank: Captain, Secondary
Ship: LNS-Los Angeles
Status: MIA
Joining the Navy after his best friend went Order, Zack was a bomber pilot, participating in a few actions before being assigned a Seige Cruiser, The Los Angeles. Suspecting someone named it as a joke, since he was born in Planet Los Angeles, Zack and his crew jokingly say thier the "Los Angeles based out of Los Angelrs." He was assigned to Task Force seven, but neglected to file the right paperwork before a scheduled attack on M****. (Some noncoms on Manhatten wonder about this, condidering the attack failed)
Zack Archer went MIA after the HellFire Legion attacked the LA near Fort Bush. To save lives, he cooperated with the Legion, sacing his entire crew. The Los Angeles and Zack Archer were last detected in Magellan.
Pulled from duty in Pennsylvania, the Seige Cruiser Thalia Grace was assigned to Zack's XO, Commander Alexis Hunter, to take over the Los Angeles's duties until it hopefully can be recovered.
