It is logical that when a House is in a war with another House you will forbid the transportation of goods from your territory to the other hostile House.
But what happens if you embargo another House? Especially when you are in a 5year tough war and the occupied territories have been extended? Of course I am refering to Kusari.
Embargo is considered a political tool to put pressure on another country, but does Kusari really have the luxury to embargo so many accomodities?
When you embargo some high-demand accomodities you deliberately decrease your profits, your production and of course a black market is created. So Kusari recently embargoed the export of H-fuel, Plutonium and Engine Components to Liberty. These 3 goods are essential as you may assume and if we remember that Liberty's economy is the largest in Sirius (I exclude Gallia), the profits that Kusari daily loses are huge. Needless to say that this embargo actually freezed the transportation of many other goods.
So my question is: Is Kusari able to freeze the export of 3 basic and high demanded goods to the largest economy of Sirius while it's still in a tough war?
But seriously, if Zoners can have invincible shields and provide an entire planet with food from one station, and Mollies can fight off the Baffers, and the Lane Hackers and Rogues can has battleships, whatever. I fail to care.
It's a VERY good point, but still, whatever. Besides, on the flip side, what is Liberty to do without H-fuel and plutonium?

Liberty is the largest commercial market in Sirius.
Kusari is in the midst of a 5 year long war that has ground to a costly standstill and has closed it's markets to 2 of 3 Houses.
The nation really ought to be crippled with incredible economic problems at this point.
Countries have issues when demand goes down for a particular good in another country.
That country has stopped exporting goods to two thirds of it's neighbours.
That's 33%, instead of 100%.

Cuse face it, RP consequences for your RP actions? PUUH-PLEAASE.
There's more fairplay than roleplay going on here, which has it's point and prevents powerful factions from screwing over others, but it also allows factions to be jerks to each other beacuse they know very little can happen to them without their consent.
Discovery has all the neccesarry political infrastructure to start conflicts, but none of the requisite infrastructure to end them.
For instance, in the FP9 thread way back when, it came to a mexican standoff between My character, Daniel Saint-Clair, and three or four others. In-RP, Saint-Clair would have kicked (most) of their asses. But, that wouldn't be fairplay. So, i couldn't kill them. But they also, despite their number advantage, couldn't kill me without my consent. Thus we were at an impasse, until i said screw it and let Dusty kill 'em.

Without someone above the faction leaders acting in the role of gamemaster, there are no consequences - at least none that the faction leads do not impose on themselves. This is a problem inherent to a roleplaying community without gamemasters.

[obligatory +1 post in total agreement]
However, apparently there are no more trustworthy people in our community.

One thing to keep in mind. Kusari doesn't export Hfuel or Plutonium. The GMG do, all we are doing is not allowing it to pass through our border with Liberty. Not much of an economic problem if you aren't the one taking the financial hit.

However, Liberty would be Paying Kishiro to bring it into Liberty, making that point somewhat invalid.
