Right. First log on the New Orleans, and I gotta say. This ship is incredible. Not quite Ally's floating casino, but this thing can make Rheinlanders burn.
*There is exclaiming and cheering as Anders turns around to tell the crew to pipe down*
Anyway, This thing came with a new log system. Guess I gotta start making logs now and then.
Anyway, better for me to get going.
*He coughs, and hits a switch next to the video feed, causing the video and sound to go blank*

Alright. Second log since the commissioning of the New Orleans. Blew up two
Rheinland Battleships today! The bigger they are, the bigger the explosion.
Were at Norfolk for now, in dry dock repairing the engine panels. Some of
them took some hits from the Second Battleship we saw. Hopefully it will be
fine by the end of this week.

Damn High Command. They ejected us out of Norfolk with the repairs half done! Damn it. Anyway, I've been thinking lately.
*He looks behind him, to check if anyone was eavesdropping*
I was thinking of going rogue. I bet thats what happened to the Commander. The Task Force is in a practical full rebellion from the Liberty Navy. But now is not the time. We're in the middle of New Berlin, and there is no way out in sight. Heck we had to blow up a couple patrols not five minutes ag-
*He stops as alarms sound all around the ship*
Cutting this short. We've been spotted...

*Anders comes into view, with a fire and electrical sounds coming off of the wall behind him*
I'm making this quick, as it may be the only thing being capable of holding what happened to us. Two Rheinland battleships broadsided us, but didn't fire. Instead, they EMPed the engine big time. I doubt it will work now. Anyway, they send a large amount of boarding craft onto our ship, my Marines are down there right now fighting them. Luckily, there are plenty of auto-turrets around, and we had pre-made barricades set just in case something like this happened. Anyway, I need to get moving, I'm ne-
*Suddenly, the fire and electrical noise cuts, and Anders attention is moved to the left of the video feed. He exclaims and slides his chair over to the left of the feed, and the sound of engines starting up is notable throughout the ship, as he slides back into view*
Looks like my engineers are better then I thought. Those battleships are still offline, and were pulling away from them! We might get away after all!
*The sounds of blaster and gunshots is heard, as Anders spins around on his chair, grabbing a rifle from the right of the video feed*
Or maybe not.
*He slams a button on the bottom of the terminal*

*Anders comes into focus, with loud cheering being able to be heard from behind him. Anders yawns, and grins cheerfully*
We made it out of Rheinland! Granted, there might be Rheinland troopers onboard the ship still, but we killed most of them when the majority of the auto-turrets came online when the engines were back up. Damn things pack a punch! I sent a detachment to search the ship in the meantime, with all areas locked down. But this thing has some holes in it now, damn it all. The boarding craft literally cut holes to get inside of this thing. I may rebel from Liberty, but it won't be any time soon. Gotta get this ship repaired first.
*He sighs and turns off the terminal*

*Anders appears on screen again, with a slight beard starting to grow on his face. He sighs as he looks around, checking the bridge. His uniform is tattered, as if someone hung it on a clothesline and shot it*
Damn Rheinlanders didn't go down easily. Luckily these uniforms are quite resistant to laser fire. I hope we can get back soon, at least now we're clear of Rheinlanders.
I hope.

*Anders rugged face fades into vision, with him having a white bandage wrapped around his left eye. Anders is carrying a large knife in his right hand as he attempts to cut away at his facial hair*
Crap, didn't notice this terminal turns on so fast.
*He coughs and puts the knife down*
Anyway, the old terminal I was using got blown up. Rheinlanders must've placed a charge in it or something. Anyway, it pretty much blew up in my face and obliterated the nearby terminals.
Also, I found out the engine is leaking radiation. And I still don't get a response from my hails towards the Liberty Navy High Command.
*He shrugs, and takes a drink out of a glass that is stowed away outside of view*
With any luck, I can get Mar-
*He stops, and stares into the glass*
Never mind, Mark is dead. And so is Johnny, Daniel, and Lee. I'm out of damn Engineers. Better teach Sierra how to do that crap.
Anyway, Anders out.

*Anders appears with his hair slightly burned on the left, and with the majority of his facial hair gone*
Guess we are AWOL now. High command wants to wipe the New Orleans off the records. Everything. It would be like the entire crew just never existed, with me included.
*He clenches his fist and slams a nearby maintenance terminal*

Carl: Jacob, can you read me? Its me, Carl. Long time since the bar heh?
Jacob:Yeah, it has been a while. Heard your Dreadnought got blown up though. What happened?
Carl: We almost got blown up by Rheinlanders. And by Liberty!
Jacob: Eh? Explain please.
Carl: Well apparently our Op was uncovered by the Rheinlanders. High Command tried to rip that they knew nothing of it once we were exposed.
Jacob: Odd. What do you want me to do?
Carl: Get High Command to put us back on the record.
Jacob: I can't do that. I won't risk my career for you.
Carl: You kidding me? Its not for me, its my entire crew!

*Anders appears on screen, looking rather confused*
I was told this ship was brand new. Just made. Yet, I was searching in the Engine Room, and pulled up one of the back panels. The Manufacturing date was two years before this was even completed. Either they used old parts or they were lying. I also found a large weld line on the outer hull. Maybe this ship was torn in two or something? Anyway, I got some Nomad Specimens from Rheinland like the original objective was set to do. However I have yet to check up on the techs down on the research level. Additionally I got told that Sierra found a way to boost the power output of the main reactor. It's dangerous, but we manage to get 25% more power then before. Might be useful if we get in another scruff. Anyway, its time to sleep.
