I got some freaking error with Milkshape 3D 1.8.4 when i want to import some ship i get Runtime Error... Can someone help me to fix it?

I get that too from time to time. Usually retrying the same model a few times works fine. It's annoying, but there's no other plugin that works.

Downgrade your version of Milkshape 3D, the Freelancer plugins tend to be more unstable with newer versions.

I use 1.8.2 and I've never experienced this error.

Damn, I downgraded to 1.8.2. and still same error: "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" "Needed to terminate this program on unusual way" bla bla bla... stupid new xp

You might consider turning to Microsoft updates, since the error seems directly related to their Visual C++ libraries which can be updated for free through their website. Maybe a patch or update has come about that will fix your problem.

Maybe try running the same application on another computer if that does not work.

Failing that, go and get the educational version of Maya 2011 and learn that...You will never turn back. haha :laugh:

Except that Maya as far as I know does not have an export function for exporting to the Freelancer CMP format.

I dont need cmp export:PI use lightwave 3D. Thanks 13cent I'm gonna try it
