Hi.I'm the owner of the character 'Rudolph.Hitler',firstly,I'm sorry for wasting your time on this sanction.
Secondly,I want to ask some questions.How would I know if a name is set up with 'role-playing nature'?You list some examples and I will follow them.In the rules,it states some instructions on creating a new character, let me quote them.
Quote:3.5 Names of new characters should be set up with role-playing nature of our server in mind. This means that:
- Names should contain no swear words.
- Country of player origin must not be used in character names.
- Names with excessive use of random symbols, capital letters, numbers, symbols, leet speak, emoticons should not be used.* Names should be pronounceable;
* No using numbers or symbols to replace letters;
* No use of emoticons/smileys in character names;
* No completely numeric names;
* No overuse of capital letters. (Use proper grammar, stop with the upper case letter every second character);
* Do not use gamer/leet terms in character names;
* Symbol use within a name should be kept to as minimum as possible (faction tags are usually enough).
Quote:The first two points here are pretty self-explanatory. So while Beavis would be an acceptable, albeit odd, name, Butthead would not. As has been pointed out many, MANY times on here, no countries of origin in names. So no [RUS], [USA], or any other derivations of your country in your name.
The third point is subject to some interpretation by the Admins. We're not going to smack people who have names like [LN]-John.Henry. But let us see a name like :[{RaZoR.HaX}]: or JeReMy.GoLdW1N, and your ship will be either renamed to something of our discretion, fined, or deleted. There has been ample warning of this on the forums in the past. Don't do it.
Neither the rules explanation nor the rules itself say anything about naming a character 'Hitler' or after some other weird character.So how would I know if a character is set up with role-playing nature in mind?
Also,may I know which section of the 3.5 caused this name-change?
PS The former owner of this account left me some characters which have been named after some other characters.Can I keep them?

Virtually anything is allowed within reason. A full list would be impossible to create and undesirable. People can use their imaginations. "Hitler" is asking for trouble and lacks prudence.

This is open to interpretation. In this case, the use of the name "Hitler" was interpreted as too connected with recent history here (in the real world) to facilitate immersion in Discovery (the game world).

I don't understand what you are asking. Can you re-phrase it?

Noted.
I mean, Spambot left me a character called Hymie.Weiss, should I change its name?
