I am Rolane Stephanie Deschaines, Commanding Officer of the Freelancing Vessel The "IMMD Vespasia."
The callsign of the vessel in question, is "DRS;TRA|The.Vespasia." This message concerns the actions of a Liberty Navy Officer, and a possible threat to the safety of myself and my crew. At roughly 7:00 SMT, I was asked to hold my position by an LPI officer, who scanned my cargo, and my crew, and deemed me clear. I was then asked to stop again by a Liberty Naval Officer, to whom I complied. The following comm reviews can quite clearly illustrate my concerns.
I sure you can now appreciate my concern for the well-being of my crew in the Republic of Liberty. For further review, I'll also attach the crew dossier I transmitted to the Liberty Navy Ship "Remtos." It should show up directly below this.
The members of my crew in question, and the former members of your armed forces, and police forces respectively all signed on of their own volition- and none are currently logged or recognizable as current criminals. Those who were, have either all served their time, or never been convicted of any crimes against the Republic of Liberty. As such, I do not believe that they should not be hunted down, or removed from their ship of employ- as per the laws of the Republic of Liberty as I understand them, feel free to clarify.
I would greatly appreciate anything either of your organizations can do to ensure the safety of my crew within your space. I would also appreciate it if you could explain to the Pilot of the Remtos that his actions were out of line, that would be sufficient. Or at the very least, I hope they will not be tolerated.
Sincerely,
Rolane Stephanie Deschaines- and the crew of the Vespasia.
Obviously the captain of the Navy ship in question, the Remtos, misunderstood about the nature of your crew and became slightly narrow-minded. With many Secondary fleet captains working long and tiring shifts, fatigue may cause them to become slightly paranoid and easily agitated. Nonetheless, as part of High Command, I'll see to it the captain of the Remtos is informed of his judgement error.
As for your crew with notable pasts - The Navy Officers, alleged Rogue and Hacker pilots as well, when a scan of your ship is conducted, they should appear as "spaceship crew". If you could have them transfer their ID's to identify them as part of your ship crew, that'd cause much less confusion in the future.
It's good to receive a reply from your offices, I had begun to suspect that perhaps it had been either buried under the massive influx of messages the Navy and LPI deal with daily, or simply been written off or ignored. Now, the curious thing about the Remtos, is that it was not a Liberty Naval Vessel, but rather a Guardian. If I'm not mistaken, the prefix "LNS" means Liberty Naval (Navy) Ship, and isn't usually applied to snubcraft. But of course, it is the secondary fleet- I'm sure it's fairly rife with error in comparison to the Primary Fleet, as such with most houses and ... Organizations.
Regardless, it's good to see some corrective action will be taken with the "Captain" or rather pilot, of the Remtos. Unfortunately though, the ID's of the crew do register them as members of the crew, but, as you know- records and dossiers on persons belonging to, or previously belonging to specific factions are rather widely available, via neural uplinks or otherwise. I'd think erasing that data would put me more at fault than attempting to erase the history of my own crew from public, or administrative eye.
I always, however, do my utmost to explain their presence and role, but there are always going to be particularly thick-headed persons incapable of seeing past a dossier and their own prejudices. Such persons are always best reported and avoided ... Or corrected, of course, if it's possible to.
Have a pleasant evening Vice Admiral. If you care to respond and further discuss, I'll be here.
Rolane Stephanie Deschaines; Commanding Officer of the IMMD Vespasia.
