A question for the wise. I have characters of the IMG and also of late the Kruger persuasion. As far as both IDs are concerned and I quote "Cannot participate in any unlawful actions except against BMM, IMG and Miner ID within the Omegas" and vice versa.
I was just in Omega 7 where I did a bit of intimidation RP against a Kruger Heg with my IMG GB. Needless to say he left with a full load of silver. This is basically because I do not know the limits of an "unlawful act".
To be honest I wouldn't be all that surprised if mutual piracy wasn't out of the question. Could maybe culminate in all out war. Then again am I missing some relevant point here?:rtfm:
I'd say: Let's keep it "mild" until the mining mod has been tuned and we know how it works, so that we can see how harsh these conflicts for the limited resources will have to be fought.
Intimidation and harrassment is okay, I'd say. BMM and IMG do that often. Shooting could be a problem, though. We need clarity on this.
But personally I'd wait a little bit until we know more about how the mining stuff works.

Just a little reminder, should be fine if you watch for the official IMG wish when you wanna "RP" with IMG GB against Kruger Haegemons.
Unlawful actions here mean piracy, as far as I know.
It's okay, but as long as you're not caught. Otherwise you're risking to be expelled from company and become outlaw.

Official guild stance:
A bit of bickering and grandstanding is fine. We call that corporate rivalry... Do it between IMG, Kruger, Daumann and BMM all the time. But the line needs to be drawn at shooting. Kruger gets shot at by Sairs, Hessians and a bunch of other Rheinland assorted unlawfuls...
I've always seen the "participate in unlawful acts" as a suggestion to cooperate with the Hessians. Basically let the RHA know when a suspicious Daumann transport is moving from A to B, or where annoying Kruger miners are at work, or smuggle a few goods to them (at least we used to - until someone set reputations full hostile so we can no longer dock at Hess bases). Direct piracy for a faction that is listed as lawful (not quasi lawful, not semi lawful. Plain old lawful) is not a good thing and I would not like to see it.
That said, up to admin interpretation if it's against their IDs, for corporations to start attacking eachother's miners and traders. I would like a clarification of this myself. The ID is a bit ambiguous.
