So I got a Rogue Dessi

I tripped over a rogue dessi the other day. The price was right so I just bought it. I have it setup now and was wondering what to do with it. So, what do you other dessi drivers use your's for? I am thinking it will be a Varyag like ship for liberty.

Yup i got 1 myself for same reason. Was offered at a price i could not resist. I am also trying to figure out what to do with it,or how to RP it.
So far both times i took out,i was attacked with no RP on site.
1st a pair of merc bombers both died horibly.
2nd a LNS BC/GB/Bomber also with look a rogue desi. Pew Pew.

Hard to RP it. you cannot hang with anyone pirating cause you will get sanctioned,so only real use is to help a group that is already under fire,but most times a cruiser would be over kill. Really hard to use with all the rules.

Actually I have had a pretty good experience with it the few time I have had it out. Even chatted it up with a trader, I think it was just because he knew I couldn't touch him.

Anyway, I am trying to think of a direction to go with it. It was easy for my Hessian(s) because you are fighting for a revolution. The Rogues don't really have that kind of thing.

Maybe there is a group out there that need some cap support...

I made a rogue dessie, bought a cap 7 for it, then realized it was the most useless ship I've ever bought. You can't pirate in it, because it's a capital ship, and you usually get LNS swarmed if you even attempt to use a jumpgate. I just keep mine parked in California, and it collects dust. =/

Rogues have no real reason to have active Scylla, that's the problem. We use them mostly as defensive platforms for our bases and systems. Since you can't pirate in them, the only thing you can really do is shoot the navy, or the rheinland military.

Mollys get more use out of their Scylla, I think. I'd recommend changing the rep and giving that a go if you're really looking to get use from a Scylla.

I used to pirate Navymen in my Scylla until some of them bitched and whined at me cause the LR Guard ID says you can't pirate in a Scylla, which is just stupid. Sure, it's unfair to pirate a transport in a Crusier, but why can't I pirate another Cruiser?

I think I am just going to yarrbag around liberty till I get tired of it then find somewhere else to lolwut.

For a long time it was the only thing I did in the Varyag, kill RM indies and fight the Military.... hold on...
