Error when trying to run FL

I get this pop up when I try and run FL... Worked fine last night and I've made no changes to my systems at all




Any ideas?

Edit: Freelancer is an enabled exception in my firewall settings.

maybe just close the firewall and then try it again.
when the upload is done re-activate.

The updater is an other .exe then freelancer I think.

Ok, that's slightly odd. I was running freelancer through DSUpdate.exe and I was getting the error. When I changed the target of my shortcut to the Freelancer.exe file, it worked again.

Igiss' website is down. Is probably causing problems for DSUpdate. I think commenting out updateserver1 in dsupdate.cfg will fix it for now. (Untested.)

arg, I am reinstalling FL now. Oh well, guess it's time for a fresh start.

commenting the line in DSUpdate.cfg didn't work.
If I target freelancer.exe in my shortcut I don't get disco listed as a server option. There are couple others listed however the "4.85" is red.

Any other options to make this work?

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
