Marshal walks into the briefing room, joining Lieutenant Briar and Grahamat the nav station, and laying out a chart of the Frankfurt system
Alright. Operation Silent Falcon is going to be a two part mission, part one encompass a insertion into Frankfurt, and recon of a minefield. A informant within the Rheinland military secondary fleet has confirmed the validity that there is a minefield in Frankfurt, and the possibility of a station within the field. Part one of this operation includes the recon of the frankfurt minefield, and insertion of sensor drones around the perimeter of the field.
Marshal points at the yellow line displayed on the chart
This is the flight path we intend to take. once at D1, Trident will break off, and Lieutenant Briar will assume command of the recon force. Drone positions will be decided at a later time, along with pilot assignments. Part two of this operation is the recon of Kusari, and investigation of a faction of Kusari Naval Units. These units have opened fire on the Kusari Emperor, and while we do not know much about the Emperor, this set of units seems to operate outside his jurisdiction, which leads me to assume they are compromised and infected by nomads. After the investigation is complete, we will return to Minor to report in, and get the trident repaired, if anything happens. Lieutenant Briar, do you have anything to add to this?
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.
Graham looked over the chart on the table, taking note of the route and nearby stations, thinking over the plan carefully in his head. When he was satisfied that there were no fatal flaws, he responded to the captain, "The plan seems sound, sir."
Briar, you will have specialists Sonar, Viper and Tiger under your command, your in command of the recon. Graham, you will be running CAP for the trident, but dont worry, for the second part of the operation you will be running the show.
A officer walks up to marshal and taps him on the shoulder
be right back, something important has just come up...
Marshal picks up the datapad and walks away from the desk, his face looking more and more concerned. He finishes reading the transmission, and walks back to the table
Ok, seems there's something bad happening. Tell your pilots you trust to keep a eye out for any ships with callsigns that begin with "codename", and submit it to me. Off the record, dont want to cause any alarm within the crew. I hate to keep you guys in the dark, but this is a real fracked up situation.

I dont know. But keep a eye out for any ships that are flying with a "codename." transponder. High Commands Orders. Anyway, you two are dismissed,
Lieutenant Graham, your briefing the pilots. Their briefing is at 0900 hours in the pilot ready room.

Marshal Looks at a datapad a officer had just handed him, then walks over to the command
chair and sits down. He hits a series of buttons, and starts to speak
All Personnel. Order high command has just informed me of the authorization for contingency plan
operation Hammer Down. As of this moment, we are to mobilize for Hammer Down. All pilots, report
to ready room, prepare for flight briefing. All crews, prepare Hammer Wing for immediate dust off.
We have trained for this moment people, don't let me and order high command down!
Set Condition one across the ship, prepare for combat!
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.
Lieutenant Briar sighed and rolled out of his bunk
Never a dull moment. He thought to himself joining the throng of people headed to the briefing room. He barely had time to flip his field cap onto his head before he arrived at the briefing room taking a spot at the front and awaiting the arrival of the other officers.
Kris was late and he knew it as he made his own way to the breifing room, certainly not the best of ways to start off any sort of operation. He was also new, and arriving late would not be the best way to make an impression on the other pilots in the wing, but nothing he could do about that now. Hopefully he'd arrive in time to catch the important parts, although whatever that might be he wasn't sure. If the task force had been secretive these people were worse than the LSF, and he wondered how many of them even knew thta he'd been brought in. Either way there was no guarentee he would even be on the mission, provided there was one, but he had to attend the breifing anyway to know the contingency plans if nothing else. The rumors he'd picked up on spoke of something near sigma 13, and while he was no stranger to covert raids in indian country there'd be no gunboat wing with him this time, and if they he was lucky only a single osiris that could hardly be risked to fight. What the hell was he supposed to do in a fighter anyway? Marshall may have been one of the go-to guys for subcraft back in liberty, but that certainly didn't make him any more comfortable with it. Oh well, guess he'd figure it out...
After hearing the alarms, Ted woke up wondering what was going on. He hobbled over to the bathroom and threw some water on his face to wake himself up. Upon hearing the call to the Pilot Ready Room, he hobbled over to where his cane was sitting and started on his way to the briefing room.
"Oh come on, hurry up you bloody piece of junk."He said as he was in the elevator. Finally, the doors opened and he was on the wrong deck. "Stupid computer. I said Pilot Ready Room not engineering control room."This time when the doors swung open, the elevator was at the right place.
When he walked into the room, it was clear he was relying heavily on his cane today."Ted Sanford reporting, sir."He said as he took a seat in one of the empty seats and leaned forward resting on his cane.
