Buenos Dias, Captains.I believe you are aware of the Maat Directive here.
It clearly states the bounds under which Capital vessels should operate, due to the strain put
on our resources when these beasts are too far away from home, as well as weakening
our defenses.
You will notice that the system of Alaska is not on the list, for many reasons. Alaska
is claimed by the House of Liberty, and the Liberty Navy is rather...vocal about
pressing this claim. I am sure you have seen many retaliatory navy incursions
into Minor as a result of large Order incursions into alaska, for whatever reason.
The thing is, we cannot afford that. Navy strikes are a drain on our resources,
and the Atum is sufficient for our needs there, it hardly requires support. And
if you have tactical evidence to the contrary that it does need additional
support from capital ships, then forward it, and ask for permission from
the Maat authorities.
I see you do not have permission from Maat, and yet you are operating here
as seen by this.
You see all the arguments against it. Yet you persist in making the lives
of your fellow officers miserable. Why? I demand an answer.
