IMG turrets

Could anyone tell me if it's feasible for a Junker salvager to mount IMG turrets without faction permission.

I know it runs contrary to the tech chart but the turret descriptions include the phrase " this turret is available on the Sirius black market and is used by certain civilian and pirate factions."

Nope. Tech chart is a rule.

Rule > Rp

If the techchart says red: No can haz.
If the techchart says white: Ask permission. OORPly or IRPly. Otherwise can't haz.
If the techchart says purple or green: Can haz.

Hope this clarifies things. Regardless of what the ID says. Going by that description most factions would, through black market dealing, have access to just about every weapon. The infocard's basically outdated.

That's right jsut ask. For your own knowledge, IMG have mixed review of junker. As they equally are looter, direct pirates, but also on the other side of the coin, ore hauler, trader...

All in all, you will have to show them a valid reason, but also get their confidence about you. ''
