They should be. Hessians are criminals and GMG are lawfuls, not to mention the 80 years war. Hessians fight the government, but ally with them against foreign threats

I wonder if you speak these words in the interest of the Corsairs.
But your logic makes no sense either. GMG are not lawful in any way, they are at best quasi-lawful, and now being deemed hostile to the Kusari House, they definitely retain a quasi-lawful status more than anything else. Secondly, even if they were "lawful" and the Hessians being "unlawful" it doesn't necessarily demand them to be rep-ninjad hostile to each other.
See other examples:
Outcasts and Bretonian Armed Forces.
Blood Dragons and GMG.
IMG and Red Hessians.
Formerly Colonial Remnants and Corsairs (ended due to Role-Play events).
Additionally, the GMG have had a long established role-play with the Hessians in terms of cooperation, and there is significant history behind their neutrality/friendliness. Not to mention, the GMG and the Hessians have the Corsairs as their mutual enemy.
I would also like to state that I'm a Rheinland Military member and gain no personal advantage by these two factions cooperating with each other.
One of the five GMG GM's here. I can't see why Red Hessians would be repninja'd hostile with the GMG, especially while the Hogosha enjoy neutrality.
Thank you Skyrim, you are correct. The GMG| and RHA have a long history of established roleplay. While I would say relations are certainly under strain because of our Sigma Trade Pact with Rheinland, it would not warrant hostility on GMG's part.

My opinion is based on my understanding of the lore and GMG, Hessian and RM lore RP and is exactly that, a personal opinion.
Edit: yes, hogs should be repped hostile to the gmg and I think the BDS asked for it already
By boosting their cooperation it inflicts a greater threat to the Corsairs.
Well your understanding be as it may, your primary argument was that GMG are lawfuls, Hessians are unlawfuls therefore they should be hostile. Given the examples I listed this can hardly constitute as anything valid. Now as for the 80 Year War, yes that's history, but in Discovery people are allowed to re-shape relationships based on Role-Play, even dramatic changes such as Outcasts becoming neutral to the Bretonian Lawfuls. If that is allowed to happen, then I hardly see how Hessians and GMG can't do it either.

No, by boosting cooperation they wont pose a greater threat to the Corsairs, because the Corsairs actively hunt/fight both factions
I never said they can't do it, I said my opinion is that they shouldn't.
k? k
On the other hand, I'm sure they will be rep'd neutral but the docking rights restrictions should be kept in place for the same reason why we have the Hessian ' IMG docking restrictions: Hessians operating from a base situated 'on the lanes' like Naha (Ogashawa is also 'on the lanes' but Hessians shouldn't be in S19 anyway) is a big NO

Is that Discovery Player RP or established mod lore?
