RepEx needs a new signature.

Criteria:
Include the text "RepEx Moving Commerce at the Speed of Light"
Include a Colossus a Behemoth, or both.
Include space for a name and title. For your example please use "Michael Richter, Chief Executive Officer"
Dimensions: Maximum 200px tall, 700px wide.
Blue/Green color scheme.
You must be able to provide me with the .psd in such a way that I can easily edit the name and title text. If you use a crazy obscure font, I'll need that too.

A bit of inspiration?

Last time I posted a thread like this nobody impressed me. I hope to be impressed this time.

Interesting.

1) where is the name/title text?

2) the ships are a bit too contrastymeish. I'm not sure if I'm describing it correctly, let me know if you don't see what I'm thinking.

3) The text is all rather tiny, any way the RepEx in particular could be more prominent?

On this version I went for the symmetry, since I like it in my designs. The first design, I started with, looks better I think.

And after re-reading your post for the 10th time I kinda got hooked on the word "signature" . I realized that both of my previous designs were leaning more towards logo style design. So, I created a signature image. In this design I went to the clear green-blue-white look. It associates with oxygen, light, speed, freshness. The neat look represents the overall attitude towards RepEx as a company, sort of neat, fresh and speedy corporation.

If you like the components of the image, I can always try to rearrange/resize them to create something different. But, keep in mind that I like structured designs, nothing to chaotic.

Let me know what you think and lets work on this. And if you don't like my style, please let me know right away so I don't waste my time on this project.

I like that one much more then the second one in your post. It's still very "HDRey"/oversaturated though, the whole thing overall, and the ships specifically.

Let me see what the RepEx members think.

Any way of getting a version with the arrows in full? Or would that take a while?

I will try to make another one with full arrows pointing left and right and desaturated a bit.

Here is what I came up with. If it is too HD and still too saturated, I can always blur it and take down the color. Right now lets get the design details to where you and the faction members are satisfied with. I am still trying to maintain the symmetry in this project.

As a RepEx member I'll chip in here.

It looks too garish and the colors are wierd, but that's just my opinion.

Go for a more utilitarian colour scheme, imho.

In plain english words you think my work is too flashy, show offy, birght and cheap. Instead of this you want more simple and dull design and colors. You "IMHO" is noted, lets wait for more opinions.

How are the colors weird????????????????????? Blue/Green:)

In a word; yes.

Rheinland is very dark and gritty, with lots of "blue collar" dangerous industry. Your signature just doesn't fit with Rheinland. The concept is unique and excellent. I think I like the half-arrows better btw. But it's just too bright. I feel like I turned the brightness on my monitor to around 400%.

Also, the shadow around the Michael Richter text, could you really decrease the weight of the shadow?
