Can I fit an Outcast ID on my Firefly. I am not sure whether it is classed as Civilian (sirius-wide) or Civilian (Bretonian). I mean it's sold at Barrier-gate, but the info-card says built in Bretonia
I probably can, but I would like to be sure
I will be using a Freelancer IFF too, will this be ok?
if it comes to Outcast ID I think your ID must match the IFF - about the Firefly...i think you can use it freely...It's a ship kinda similar to BTW - I mean the type not look or equipment.
Does it say "Firefly Transport" on the top line of the infocard it is legal to use, though the BWT would fit the outcasts better.
Does it say "Firefly - Bretonian transport" or something like that on the first line (not the additional text) it is not legal as it would be considered Bretonian civilian tech (like the shire for example).
If the wiki is accurate on this, the first is the case though and hence you are legal. Check your infocard ingame to be sure.

Hmm I was sure that it belongs to "Civilian Bretonian" part of the tech chart but don't take my word on it, might need a clarification on this. Alternatively you can choose the BWT.
Yes it says Firefly transport. I assumed it was okay, but checked the Tech chart then the wiki. The techchart says no Bretonian Civilian ships+OC ID, then the wiki lists the firefly as Bretonian lawful. It is listed nowhere else *rolls eyes*
The fact that it's sold on Barrier Gate makes no difference, because that's not an Outcast base, so it doesn't fall under the "sold on your base = you can use regardless of tech chart" thing.
